Man, I really love Myles Kennedy. Crazy to think there are people out there who don't even know he exists. He is nothing short of amazing and one of the best musicians there has ever been. There's just not enough recognition for this man.

I'd argue Cornell greatest singer songwriter of our era although he's gone now. Could also make an argument for Jared Leto, Dave Grohl, Dallas Green, Prince , amongst many others. I hate it when people say "Greatest Ever" it's just a matter of ones taste and opinion. And opinions are like assholes, everyone's stinks except the chic's I'm eating!!!!
I believe he has the greatest rock and roll voice of our time. He is an amazing writer, player and singer. His range is just incredible. His songs are thought provoking and inspirational. I could go on... Just love him. 👍

I have known about him for so many years. Why did I never pay attention? How awesome is this dude! I missed out for so long.. I will just put it like this.. Chris Cornell was always my favorite since the beginning of his career I followed him. A true vocal beast. I can't help but to put Myles right up there with Chris Cornell, now that I'm listening. I wish I was truly listening a long time ago. But I am now. What a beast. The songwriting, guitar playing, and holy sh!t that singing. I have a lot of catching up to do now I guess. I had the chance to see him live last year with Slash, on top of his wonderful performance I noticed something very special that night, Myles doesn't stare at the crowd like other artists he stares into each individual's eyes it feels like.

Agree, though nothing but a name and haunted by design are also very good. This is def the centerpiece of the album though.
If I’m not mistaken this is the only song that survived the original solo record that Myles ended up scrapping. I’m glad this one lived.
I hear people saying that Myles and Alter Bridge deserves more fame, recognizion and grammies etc. And I agree with that for 100%. But I also think that Myles and Alter Bridge already do appreciate or value the artistic freedom and a warm welcome from the fanbase (wich they have received over the years), FAR MORE than the size of their fame, trophy room or anything else.
They rather live from the heart🤘😎.

I know a new album is a masterpiece when after I listen to it the first time, I don't like it "yet", because I haven't yet processed the songs and feel as though I missed all nuances, and have yet to experience the songs for what they mean to me. And then the MORE I listen to it, I only grow to like it, then love it, then become obsessed with it.

My all time favorite vocalist/performer. Was fortunate enough to have amazing seats for an Alter Bridge show and the guy killed it.......every time I’m in Seattle I’m hoping to catch him doing a street performance.
My god... when I listened to Myles' new songs on youtube (my copy of the album is still stuck in customs), I kinda skipped this one because the title sounded so cheesy. Accidentally this turned out to be one of the best decisions I could have made. Because yesterday, hearing this song live and for the first time... it was hauntingly beautiful. In that moment Myles had the heart of even the hardest metal dude in the crowd in the palm of his hand.
OnceAgainICantSleep I can absolutely relate to that! Gave me chills when I heard it live in Cologne last week, although I've heard it zillion times before (this album plays nonstop in my car). Just a man and his guitar and he is able to reach right into the hearts of his audience, what an amazing artist and humble human being!
