Just hope Kururmi stays with the group, stays alive, and also lives with Shido and them. Aka going wherever they go, happy ending where all of the spirits and Shido live together and survive. You know compared to DC or Marvel, where villainess often have little to no hope of being turned good by a superhero, I like anime because of how female villains do have a more likely chance of turning good because of the MC. Kurumi may be evil, but you feel Shido can later make her turn good. If Poison Ivy existed, in this anime, Shido can easily make her turn good.
Actually she is not evil. Kurumi is more of an anti-hero. She just refused to go with the flow like the other girls and has her own objective to do. Yes she is badass and super dangerous, but she never killed any innocents (if you payed attention in the series), she loves cuteness and teasing the hell out of Shidou. She's a bad girl but not evil. imo she is the only good character in DaL, one of my all time favs actually.
Whammy Cheng in the novel she was actually a hero of justice she saves people from inverse spirits but then she discovered that spirits were innocent people that Phantom implanted sepira crystals in order to purify them ex owner of camael was her BF and now she is mentally broken and now gathering mana to go to the past and stop the appearance of the first spirit. Her love for Shido make sense because he represents her ideals and he save spirits by kindness and understanding.
