I understand what Charles Barkley said about an 18 year old kid becoming an MVP, playing against grown men. But, in my opinion, at the time of his comments, Charles didn’t seem to be taking into consideration that Luka didn’t just appear at 18 and was MVP of the Euroloeague, he started playing professionally at Real Madrid’s first team at 16 years of age, and made it to the Slovenia men’s national team at 17. Therefore, Luka had been playing against grown men since he was 16! The fact that he made an impact right away in the NBA (despite the many initial concerns and comments about his athleticism), only adds to the fact that he was a really talented player at a ver young age.

if he stays healthy, he definitely has a shot to top them all, but it might not be just in points since he likes to pass a lot creating opportunities for his teammates, but definitely as an all around player.
The X-factor for Luka is the same for all the greats. He has to stay healthy! Where would Derrick Rose be today if he hadn't blown out his knee? If Luka stays healthy, no doubt that he will be one of the greatest that ever played!
Luka reminds me a lot of Magic Johnson. Great court vision, and ability to dominate a game. Magic was a better passer than Luka. But Luka is a better shooter.

Luka Legend
to see someone from my country be in the NBA is shocking🙀
Charles is probably like the only guy who take European Player seriously, one time he played with Novitzki in an Exhibition match in Germany, and he was so Impressed, he ask an Organization to sign him so he could play in the NBA
3 MVP 2 Rings 2 Finals MVP & ALL TIME Triple Double Champion
We are crushing it at Olympics... Go sLOVEnia!
Pop on Ginobili : Manu is a winner.... and we know what Manu gives to Spurs...
Luka is also a winner too.... Mavs just need a piece or two... to get the ring 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Luka needs to focus not to argue to others player... like the trio Duncan-Manu-Parker💡
Yessuh
if he stays healthy, he definitely has a shot to top them all, but it might not be just in points since he likes to pass a lot creating opportunities for his teammates, but definitely as an all around player.
Feels like he enjoys a great assist more
The X-factor for Luka is the same for all the greats. He has to stay healthy! Where would Derrick Rose be today if he hadn't blown out his knee? If Luka stays healthy, no doubt that he will be one of the greatest that ever played!
Well said Jonathan, we all wish the best for him
Luka like a Larry Bird and Magic Johnson blend
Luka reminds me a lot of Magic Johnson. Great court vision, and ability to dominate a game. Magic was a better passer than Luka. But Luka is a better shooter.
His passing is close to magic.. His shooting is WAYYYYYYYY better. No comparison.
his passing is decently close to magic but to be fair magic is the best passer in nba or larry bird idk both are goats at it, but yeah luka is miles better at shooting
My Problem is, to compare the different Decades. Todays Game has changed and Not the tough Defense the Game had in the 90s and 00.
Luka 🏆
Thanks. Good stuff from the best NBA minds. I’m going to throw another kid out there who has the makings of one of the best players, and most fans have never watched him. It’s Josh Giddey although he is nowhere near Luka or Magic as a scorer has “it..” OKC is assembling a powerhouse.
Luka nb. 1 💪
Imagine him and Drazen together
@@CourtsideTV1 Certainly one of his idols in his youth. And not just his but all of us who love basketball!
Thanks for making a video about this. But dude, your script has sooooo many throwaway filler lines. You seem to be making a thorough effort with your channel but I bet your could get more subscribers if your script had a more natural flow. Honest criticism, not throwing shade. (I think this is the second time I do it though :D )
Thanks for the tip Andrew, any specific thing you are thinking about ?
Analysts thoughts on Luka Doncic before and after the draft ruclips.net/video/gK1nPmW8y_0/видео.html
Luka is one hell of a facilitator but I really dont see the bird comparisons other than maybe there size and their post game. Bird is still a few levels ahead of doncic but luka is so young and has a ton of potential to be an all time great.
We are all entitled to our own opinions, My opinion is that every player are the best versions of them selfs, but i think we all can agree that Luka will have a great career just like Bird
Wtf would anyone criticize Pierce for that?
Paul played at an absolute elite level career for over a decade, he has a ring. He has every right to compare himself to Luka all within the aspect of the game of basket ball. Trust me, I hated him being a Laker fan (He made the Beat LA shit popular), but he was damm good.
Future face of the league
You can yell he loves to play basketball. He enjoys playong and the competition.
He need a good big man inside the court willing to operate inside the paint unlike kp he forgot hes 7"3
KP may be 7'3 but he's also about 165lbs...He gets knocked around in the paint way too easily
@@IRequireMedication facts kawhi and pg locked him up and bodied him in the paint
Luka nie se ponosime so tebe. Pozdrav od Macedonia
So srejka protiv Ukraina, napred Makedonija!
doc rivera said it perfect, felt like luka been around for long time then realize he only been in nba for 3yrs lol
I agree
