For Lanterns, you might also need to think about who from that shortlist is in real need of work, hasn't got any project down the line and will have trouble finding work if the pass on this show. Everyone on that shortlist including Brolin doesn't really fit that criteria.
I absolutely loved The Regime, and it makes me sad that it wasn't more successful. I'm not a huge fan of TV shows unless they are animated, but I decided to give The Regime a chance on a whim because the show's premise seemed extraordinarily unique and interesting. To my surprise, I binge-watched the entire series in one night. The show uses parody to cleverly expose how authoritarian regimes are often nothing more than smoke and mirrors and how shockingly tenuous and weak their grasp on power is if you look behind the curtain. They are often only being propped up by little more than charisma and propaganda. The show is intelligently written and extremely well-acted, and the dark humor is surprisingly funny and nuanced. If you start watching the show thinking it's a serious drama, you'll probably be disappointed and miss the point. But if you appreciate dark humor and understand that it's a parody of the ridiculousness of real-life authoritarian leaders, then you'll likely enjoy the show. I think it went over most people's heads, which seems to happen with this kind of content for whatever reason. Either way, I'm just happy to have enjoyed it.
What's interesting about the theory of a supposedly "red-shit" Hal Jordan is that the Green Lantern IP has two very big story sagas involving death and resurrection (GL: Rebirth and Blackest Night), so if the show survives (heh) more than one season they could use that to bring Hal back. 💚
i think it all depends on if superman does well. maybe they should’ve waited to see how that does before moving forward (even if makes it take long). i mean marvel wasn’t pulling super high grade actors in the beginning too if that makes sense
Big names does not equal big talent. Most of the MCU has not been "big names" until they were in the MCU. And they also don't pull box office outside of the MCU.
If Colin Farrell can play The Penguin so well, any casting bets are on the table. A listers are smart not to jump on DC projects untill after Superman drops.
Don't make assumptions about what going to happen. You thought Lex Luthor was going to be at the end of Waller or Peacemaker season 2, and that would be his reveal, when they are coming out after Superman.
Maybe you don't need A listers but good actors for these projects. For instance, maybe it's because I'm european but with voice-overs in animation movies I never connect the voice with a star I always focus on the character, they always have to tell me that some A list actor did the voice-over otherwise I wouldn't have known.
Depending on how one uses AI, it can either teach or stagnate. If AI is at the center of your creativity, you won't get anywhere, but if your brain is at the core and you use AI as an assistant, you can learn from it. It depends on how you use it. The effectiveness of AI in fostering creativity depends on its role. When AI drives the creative process, progress is hindered. However, when human ingenuity takes the lead and AI serves as a supportive tool, it can enhance learning and growth AI can either limit or amplify creativity, depending on whether it's the primary driver or a secondary assistant.
To be fair, the MCU didn’t start with people that were A listers and the most well known actors (still aren’t doing that 100%, though people have def been coming in due to its success). I think we don’t be doomy until we see that the movie looks bad.
I always get annoyed when people say that there haven't been many interesting stories. Despite the fact that the characters has existed for like 70 years LO, L, there are plenty of stories. It just depends upon if you can make them good for the screen. Also, the only reason why she dated Lex Luther is because at that time, we didn't know that he was the real Lex Luther. He claimed to be Lex Luther's son. Later, we found out that letsuher transferred his body into a clone. This was over years
Beyond The Trailer - Always guaranteed to be100% AI-free. Although, she may sometimes talk like a robot to fool the machines into thinking she's one of them.
With ai either join the party or be made obsolete, re Hollywood cgi has largely replaced most partial effects particularly on lower budget productions this is just the next evolution, it’s quite possible generative ai will be used one day to make entire shows or movies on the fly
Dear Grace. You seem a little obsessed with "Toxic channels". When you a criticizing actors or shows, are you not then a "toxic channel" or is it only when others are criticizing something you like ?? One more time, "toxic channels" have no influence how a show is performing, it is just a bad excuse when shows fails. The accolyte had the viewers for the first 3 episodes, but then the viewers dropped out because of bad writing and acting. Not because of "toxic channels".
After almost killing the Terminator franchise, he realizes that an endless batch of Avatar films isn't going to succeed as a profitable idea. But going back to the Terminator franchise isn't the answer .

Kyle Chandler is great and he has fans. GRACE, watch some Friday Night Lights. Connie Britton is also great.
Josh Hartnett. He has a similar look to Kyle Chandler, but I think he'd make the character more interesting.
there are so many good brown skinned actors now there is no reason they had to cast a white actor who isn't even good
i think it all depends on if superman does well. maybe they should’ve waited to see how that does before moving forward (even if makes it take long). i mean marvel wasn’t pulling super high grade actors in the beginning too if that makes sense
They should have gone for a Lethal Weapon, Riggs/Murtaugh buddy cop comedy for Hal and John.
I hope you feel better Grace. ❤
Watching this late I hope you feel better soon!
Happy to see only good and exciting comments here about the new castings for DCU! Super excited for those projects
Kyle Rayner is my fave GL. Followed by Jon Stewart. Hal comes in at 3rd. Matthias is a really good actor with a lot of range.
Kyle all the way! Maybe it’s because he reminds me of Marvel’s Phoenix in that he can express the different colors and becomes white but I love that.
DC Studios and WB have the money
Don't make assumptions about what going to happen. You thought Lex Luthor was going to be at the end of Waller or Peacemaker season 2, and that would be his reveal, when they are coming out after Superman.
Maybe you don't need A listers but good actors for these projects. For instance, maybe it's because I'm european but with voice-overs in animation movies I never connect the voice with a star I always focus on the character, they always have to tell me that some A list actor did the voice-over otherwise I wouldn't have known.
It works for the story they will probably be telling. Which is Hal Jordan Going evil. Also I really wish they would recast Wiccan.
However, when human ingenuity takes the lead and AI serves as a supportive tool, it can enhance learning and growth
AI can either limit or amplify creativity, depending on whether it's the primary driver or a secondary assistant.
To be fair, the MCU didn’t start with people that were A listers and the most well known actors (still aren’t doing that 100%, though people have def been coming in due to its success). I think we don’t be doomy until we see that the movie looks bad.
AI... I feel like that She-Hulk series had more to say than we give it credit for.
Why would Brolin want to do it? He's already done Thanos and Cable, most people don't want to keep doing franchises.
This was over years
Grace always claims this for characters she’s not a fan of. Blue Beetle, Green Lantern, Supergirl…etc
@@JUANxxTNAFAN i know I've been following grace since 2014. I love her to death, but I meant in general.
Beyond The Trailer - Always guaranteed to be100% AI-free. Although, she may sometimes talk like a robot to fool the machines into thinking she's one of them.
Kyle chandler is great in everything I have seen him. Also I trust 100% trust James Gun when it comes to casting
With ai either join the party or be made obsolete, re Hollywood cgi has largely replaced most partial effects particularly on lower budget productions this is just the next evolution, it’s quite possible generative ai will be used one day to make entire shows or movies on the fly
You are overreacting! Gunn said the Supergirl Film will be inspired by WoT. That does not mean it will be exactly like the comic.
After almost killing the Terminator
franchise, he realizes that an endless batch of Avatar films isn't going to succeed as a profitable idea. But going back to the Terminator franchise isn't the answer .
Kyle is awesome. I hope he gets it.
I personally think if they ‘kill’ Hal by the end so they can adapt Green Lantern Rebirth, then recast younger and go into more of the Geoff Johns Green Lantern stuff because it legitimately is the best Green Lantern run.
Can we get AI to clean up the trash in the oceans?
*- John Boyega for John Stewart Green lantern.*
