  • @stevie-hk3uq
    @stevie-hk3uq Год назад +6

    interesting, but i wouldn't see myself using it over a granular synth, you could put the samples you want into a consolidated audio file and switch between the samples with automation and a short automated grain size, I imagine it would be easier to keep in time that way too. However it probably would give some good fast inspiration when trying to find samples to use w/ granular synthesis

    • @xenopis7862
      @xenopis7862 Год назад +1

      I'm trying to recreate some of his drum breaks in logic pro. Currently Im doing a very long method and I was just wondering if you know a shorter way of doing so.

    • @stevie-hk3uq
      @stevie-hk3uq Год назад

      @@xenopis7862 there is a plugin called Renoise Redux, its like $60 but basically gives you the whole renoise sampler and tracker in your daw. That is my go to way for chopping up breaks bc most glitchy idm breaks are made in trackers. Most older aphex twin, venetian snares type songs are made in trackers and its super fast once you get used to the keybinds. Idk what you have for granular synthesis in logic, but in ableton there is a device called Granulator II and it would be my go to for anything granular. but still if you want speed and a more classic sound i think Redux or a similar plugin is the best
