Damon drives the 2013 Porsche 911 50th Anniversary Edition in Germany. With 430 horsepower, rear-wheel drive, and the Carrera 4S's wide body, it was a unique 911 at the time. Does it hold up?

Wanted this same spec with 7-speed. Love the color, wheels, and chrome bits. Electric steering is an aquired taste. The 991.1 and 981 series from this period are spot-on. Porsche was on it's game!
There is, confusingly another 50 Anniversary, a Club Coupe 997.1 made in 2006. Only 50 were made one of which is in the Porsche Museum. All are painted, interestingly, in a Ferrari color…Azzorra California. It has the X-51 power kit in addition to all the of the performance options available in 2006. Mine has 19k. Perhaps you could take it for one of the “one mile drives” 😊
I was waiting for this vid to come out as I own one of these in black and I adore it 😂😂
The 991.1 with power kit and sport exhaust sounds sooo good!
@@PorscheClubofAmerica It honestly sounds absolutely amazing!
One of my favorite cars, love the 50 ❤
Love the retro green-numbered dials.
I own a 7 Speed manual of this car in Graphite Grey. Perfect car. Thanks for posting this review.
Good choice!
Same. #1785 w/ 45K glorious (s)miles.
Powerkit was an option, not standard.
The new 911 is unappealing to me with the dumb tiny shifter and other reasons. I like the old ones better and would rather have this 50th AE than a 2023 model.
It’s been 10 years?
Ya, hard to believe…
