Ahhh man, I've always loved Toast. The trip tp Australia was a really big memory for this channel as it pushed you as a driver and showed you outside of your comfort zone. The wrap was an amazing international collab and a *lot* of people love it for what it represents. Definitely keep, at least the chassis / shell as a piece of history. IMHO, Toast represents the end of the OG Leroy era into the new FF era where you employed what you learned from the Aussie burnout scene into the US one. It was the bridge between those where you as a creator, driver and company grew massively and single handedly changed the US racing and automotive entertainment scene.
Fix the door and body and make toast part of the new freedom factory museum. Toast has been part of the channel for so long she deserves to always be at the freedom factory!

Toast is the car that brought me to this world of automotive RUclipsrs! I watch Summernats every year. The year was 2019? 2020? A suggested RUclips video popped up of an American with his own car at summernats thinking he could compete with us. I laffed and laffed and laffed, thinking OH BOY this is gonna be amusing. He killed it, if it weren't for the gigantic fireball this yank giraffe just pulled off a seriously competitive skid! The rest is history, I've watched every video since. Would be sad to see Toast destroyed, this car brought a lot of his Aussie followers! At the same time though, how long will it hang around as a cool memory before it's just a pile of dusty scrap? I'd kinda like to see it dropped from a heli onto a giant trampoline while the crash is still fresh in our minds and he can squeeze a little more content outa Toast. I love George’s idea of a two-door Crown Vic. Put a junk engine and blower in Toast (even though it doesn’t run at all, still make it look good and shiny) and put it on display somewhere on Freedom Factory grounds in a place where people can pose and take pictures.

Haven't seen him that excited after a race since his early days. So what you are giving drivers like him and all of the fans is something we in America need during these rough waters of life today. If you haven't noticed, after that kid got burned like he did in Florida, they are WAY more strict on burnout cars and safety gear. Look at the cars they video now. NONE of them have aluminum wheels on the drive wheels. That was cause of the one George shattered and launched into the crowd at their first Indianapolis event. And especially now that his a 2X papa, you KNOW Maddie would be first to rip him a new one if he has a momentary lapse in judgement!

Toast is toast. It earned its name. I think you ought to build a heavy tube frame chassis with easily replaceable sections, front, back and sides, so you're ready for the inevitable crack up. Use bolt on, modular subframes for the front and rear suspensions. Then hang some easily replaceable quarter panels, doors hoods, etc, so when you bust it up, you can just slap on new body panels. A lot of manufacturers make tri-five Chevy body parts. A 55 Chevy with that blower sticking out of the hood and smoke churning out of the wheel wells would look awesome !!!
@@wesw9586 Nah. Like they said, that frame is mangled. They could fix it, but it's not worth it and Cleet said that it was too much of a handful to drive. It will be better just to drop that powertrain in another car.
Hear me out.... Toast's drivetrain in a Grumman LLV mail truck. Theyre plentiful, can probably be had cheap, super light all aluminum body on a 2wd S10 Blazer frame with a narrowed front end. They have a 2.5L and a 700r4 in them, so you should be able to squeeze toast's powerplant into it. Cut the floor and firewall for engine/trans clearance and have Tye box it in with a super strong tunnel.
George made me so proud in our Aussie Ute.. he almost had it done till he hit/tapped the wall and then only blew one tyre, next time mate, next time... you GOT THIS.
I saw WAR BIRD today on the back of a trailer going over the West Gate Bridge in Melbourne, Australia 🇦🇺. It still has the Freedom Factory sticker on the rear window. U guys would have made him proud today 👏

@@wesw9586 Nah. Like they said, that frame is mangled. They could fix it, but it's not worth it and Cleet said that it was too much of a handful to drive. It will be better just to drop that powertrain in another car.

Hear me out.... Toast's drivetrain in a Grumman LLV mail truck. Theyre plentiful, can probably be had cheap, super light all aluminum body on a 2wd S10 Blazer frame with a narrowed front end. They have a 2.5L and a 700r4 in them, so you should be able to squeeze toast's powerplant into it. Cut the floor and firewall for engine/trans clearance and have Tye box it in with a super strong tunnel.

I live very close to Indianapolis and had NO IDEA the event was happening!!! My family and I are SO bummed we missed it! I assumed the videos would have mentioned it but I never heard any mention. Hope to catch it next year
