The expensive Webasto's were always giving grief on machines i worked on. Wouldnt bother with buying those.
I reckon a fuel tank mounted quite high could eliminate priming problems.
Agree.
Yes, gravity feed is the best way 👍👍
Im about to install a 5kw into my camper cheap Chinese 1 it was 150.the only thing i have herd to keep them from blocking up is to run it flat out every now and then just to burn any rubbish out of it.apart from that.solid unit
@@Jeepvanboat yeah absolutely. That works a treat. When using ours full time during the winter we do that about once a week 😀 no problems 👍👍
Heading south at this time of year you're sure to need it.🔥 Is the fuel cell provided UV stabilized? Thanks for sharing
For sure, its definitely had a good workout over the years. I'm not entirely sure but seems to be....is always in the weather with/without diesel and had no issues.
Yep had a cheapy in my Camper trailer for the last 4 years, never had a problem aside from the bloody annoying ticking fuel pump.
Yeh they go pretty good. Yeh they can be a bit annoying if you spend AGES changing the mounting positions you can get them quiet- er
You covered everything, thanks
@@argonengineering9378 no worries. Hope it was helpful 🤠
Thank you! Some great advice. Very helpful.
Glad you found it useful 🙂🙂
shame the diesel heater doesn't have a "diesel" motor so that you don't need to draw off battery to run
It's unfortunate but they do however draw only a small amount of power from the battery, it's unnoticed
I have a portable one not a cheap one have been thinking of putting one in my pod
Still better than nothing!!! We love this one and use it heaps!
Great info, thanks team. Stay warm ... Cheers.
No worries, hopefully it's helpful!! We'll definitely be keepin warm 🥶
Hey Ray great review. We are just looking at doing this in our camper after just returning from an outback trip and freezing LOL. We are looking at the 8kw on on Kogan is that the same as the one you have?
Thanks. Ours is the 5kw from Keep fan, but in a camper I'd go the 8kw for sure 👍
@@jeepinoz yeah its a FF camper so figured will loose lots through the canvas. Oh love your rig 🤤
@@filthyoffroadadventures Yeh it should still work a treat.
Yeh, we love her too, but then we might be a bit Jeep Biased as well. We've actually got a build video coming on on a new Galdiator 😁
@@jeepinoz Nice. We love our Gladiator it is one of the best Jeeps we have had and we have had few now.😍
@@filthyoffroadadventures Yes, same here. We actually took a new Galdiator for a drive at this year's Camp Coffs, pretty great vehicle. A few more luxuries than our old Gladiator however 🤣
yer thay are good got one in the house as well
Yeh very surprising how good they are!
