Every time a watch comes out in with an odd number lug width, 99% of the world slates it. I can see why they went with 20mm and I’m glad they did as I have about 20 straps that will go with my black one once it arrives!

Thing is that 98% of those guys are not going to buy anything anyway lol!
It must be a big problem for smaller brands that have their hands tied design wise because of it.

Started the video, went and started a cup of coffee, came back 4 mins in and the wrist check hasn't even been completed, much less getting on to the subject of the video. I've no time for the waffling, I'll check back later in the day to see if we've gotten around to "A day on the wristopia" yet!😴 GET TO THE POINT LAD!

My purple arrived last week, love it, and loved the photos from other buyers so much that I ordered a red one as well haha. Love the funky colours, I already have plenty of bland and boring black, blue and grey dials. I’m embracing funky colours much more

    A few additions......
Firstly, I completely ignored the movement, but its the usual NH35 Buttery Smoothness that I was expecting.
Secondly, I would recommend pinching up all screwed links and monitoring them for possible loctite™ requirement 😉
Thirdly I said I am very pleased with 'dimensions' when I meant to say 'proportions'.

Some good points! I couldn't put my finger on it but I think I tend to agree that the bracelet looks a bit too narrow for the case.

I was always surprised it was so big a case (which I prefer though).
The clasp being so big is a surprise too (again, I probably prefer that) as I know it comes in a narrower version (perhaps too narrow), and then could have had a bit more taper, which people like.
      Stirling First Effort though IMO.

Great videos on the Origin mate, including the "cost" one. Good to see a review of this particularly by someone who hasnt been sent the watch for free and doing a review for a friend. I watch and subscribe to alot of the watch community but took their reviews of the Origin with a pinch of salt. That said I'm still on the fence with this. I think I'm looking at a field watch next and would be interested in The Mad Hacker if I could see a decent review before pre-ordering. I don't think that is going to happen though 😕

We have the same tastes in watches, it seems. I also have the 42mm blue Pelagos and alternate it on bracelet or the blue rubber strap it comes with. I reckon as a daily beater the OG Pelagos is possibly the best one and done watch. It feels like it can survive anything despite being made of Titanium, but that helps it be light. I ŵear other watches more, but there is something special about the Pelagos and i am bored of the all the Black Bays that Tudor has flooded the market with over the last few years....

      Nice one 👍
I have never used the supplied rubber as its pin buckle isn't it?
I love the way it integrates with the end link though.
I do have aftermarket fitted to case rubber straps for Tudor that can be fitted with the Tudor Deployant.
I will take a look and see if the Pelagos rubber strap will work with it ; )

@@wristopia4101 yeah the strap is pin buckle and a deployant clasp would be nice, but the pin buckle doesn't bother me aesthetically and is so comfortable to wear. The bracelet being Titanium and without the faux rivets is super comfortable and looks great, but the supplied rubber strap is also brilliant. If you can get a deployant clasp onto the stock Tudor rubber band I would be very interested in a video about that as that could be the best of all worlds solution... thanks

@@gavinBsussex I had a quick look at it online, and unfortunately feel that the holes in the strap are too big and square to work with the Tudor deployant.
I do not think that anyone makes an aftermarket rubber for the Pelagos (only the Black Bays), and the cost, and loosing the interaction with the end link, would be prohibitive anyway IMO.
I think I will pop my blue one on the Tudor rubber and show it on a video soon, as its a bit odd I have never worn a Pelagos like that (looks for box).

@@wristopia4101 yeah I had my Pelagos for a year before I thought why not have a look at the strap. Once I tried the rubber and how well it is integrated into the end link it definitely became a solid option to wear the watch. Try the rubber strap, I would be surprised if you aren’t impressed

You have about 10 mins of solid content ,and 10 mins of just rambling and not to the point. Just a friendly critique. More editing is needed.

OMG. For future videos, please get to the point. Too much rambling, it drove me nuts !
