I decided to listen to Kristen talking about it and I don’t blame him for being peeved at her. It’s a good thing they didn’t work out honestly. It was painful to listen to her mock him for wanting a coffee, Pat herself on the back for meeting him for a sympathy coffee because she’s just so nice, and then proceed on to how one good thing came because she now has this story. And then basically paints him as a monster because of the mistake he chose and staying calm instead of losing his mind to freak out. Doesn’t ever bother to ponder if he may have been forcing himself to stay calm to avoid freaking out in front of everybody. And then judges the shit out of him and makes sure to mention she will never see him again but made sure to keep talking to him so she could get the details and some pictures of it. And the timeline of when she told the story was basically right away so clearly she’s a quality friend to keep around and had some real concern for him and how he was doing. True friends would make sure you knew you’d fucked up but would be checking in on you and wouldn’t be blasting you to the public while mocking you with another friend. She didn’t even bother to say a single nice thing about him while her cohost at least chimed in on a few occasions to compliment Jeff and say that he was really kind and fun to be around. All in all better in the long run to avoid being with or around a person like that who sees herself as altruistic to even meet you for a coffee to begin with and pats themselves on the back for it. I’d even be willing to bet she never said anything about not wanting to do it to him and acted super positive and excited when she communicated with him while shitting all over him when he wasn’t there to hear it.

Sooo full disclosure I did come on this because Kristin has mentioned “Jeff Dye” and well there’s always 2 sides of the story 😏 Also I watched you, Marco on F boy island - which you did come across as a F boy, so as Jeff mentioned that’s who you’re going to attract (if that’s what you want, GO to smoochie town 😂). Enjoyed the podcast- it was like 2 close bros, bro’ing it out 👊🏻 and I get your sense of humour;)

Jeff is that cool guy that's funny sometimes but he also has no sense of humor when the joke is on him. He's mad Kristin talked about his DUI without mentioning his name but doesn't seem to take accountability of the fact that he was drinking and driving.

Did you listen to her tell the story? There’s a difference between good natured ribbing with each other and laughing about it versus how she retold the events. She doesn’t speak on it as a good natured laughable event at all. She talks shit about him even asking to have coffee with her and talks about how big of a chore it was for her to meet up with him for a coffee and was out off when he sent her an address to the coffee shop as if the location was beneath her and then as her friend mocks Burbank she pats herself on the back for driving so far away to meet a guy she doesn’t even want to see to have a coffee because she’s just too nice.
Then she proceeds into how big of a loser he was because he missed his alarm and then she paints him as a dark figure because of what he chose to do. And then she dramatizes when he’s arrested and because he’s calm as it’s happening even that’s a problem because he isn’t freaking out about it. And when they reconnect he’s still not being dramatic enough about it, she mocks his pictures to mock him, makes sure she says she’s never going to see him ever again, and then talks about how he obviously has a problem as she’s judging him. None of that was light hearted joke is on me let’s laugh about it. She used the story to talk down about him, showed zero empathy for how he may have been feeling about it.
The entire thing is how she didn’t want to see him, she’s so nice for driving to a sympathy coffee, and the only good thing was that she got this story out of it. She paints him as this bad guy because he didn’t react tot things the way she thought he should have and never bothered to even ponder that he may have been frazzled and was trying to be calm so he wouldn’t freak out about it but rather shit all over him for being calm. She didn’t say a single positive thing about him but her friend kept trying to chime in and say that he was a nice guy and that he was fun to be around. If he’d spoken about this same event but it was about her and not him in the same way she did she wouldn’t be cool with it either. There’s a huge difference between good natured laughing about things and how she spoke about things and anybody pretending there isn’t is lying about things.
