I showed both these films on 35mm when i was still an apprentice Cinema Projectionist away back in the day in Aberdeen Scotland . We only had two daily performances of OLIVER due to it's running time . If my memory is correct OLIVER was a 4 track mag print All projected via Westar projectors with reel changeover set up and Peerless carbon Arcs and Westrex sound stereo system . Those were the days ! I still have both those scope trailers in Super 8mm too but i can't recall the colour having that blue tint . It's a shame about that slight image cropping top and bottom though on OLIVER . I also have the OLIVER scope trailer on 16mm too thanks to Derann Films . Thanks for posting this Graham .
I think my video camera setting was a bit off causing the image to show more blue than it should. The Derann 16mm print would have been the better way to go, hopefully some day, someone will modify a Super8 aperture plate, so with a turn of a knob it opens up top and bottom, that's if the lens rear element can take the bigger image.
