I am looking at a new Gore-Tex / waterproof adventure touring boot. But, don't want to compromise protection. My normal boot is Alpinestars Tech 7. Came across your review. One of the best reviews I've seen on the Toucan boots so far. Do you know the height of the Toucan boot and would you say the height to top of boot would accommodate a MX style knee guard, which needs to be tucked into the boot? Thanks. Kam
REVIT Defender Pro GTX Grey / Red - bought it because it is more visible than dark clothing and the pants come in long length too, at least in the US - cooler being six feet above than six feet below by being visible🙂
The shifting felt a little uncommunicative when I first started using the boots, but now it is second nature; i.e. no problem at all! Any tall boot like this is warm in the summer months, but the boots are not that hot. I rather have extra protection and be a little warm! :-) I am very satisfied with the boots!
@@orbsurfer8195 just ordered them. i agree with everything you said have to make a compromise. i feel better with gore-tex though since its the most breathable

Sorry, should have included info on that subject. The boots perform very well in the wet, and that was my hope when I bought the boots. :-)
