There's no need to fit the tilt mechanism unless the lid doesn't clear the passenger handles or top case. I don't have that problem so I did not bother.

That is very cool! I wanna do just that but with turn signals, do you think that’s possible? I wanna install a high mount exhaust on my tenere 700 that’s why, I’m trying to find a way to install the turn signals onto the tail light somehow.

If you dont need to ride straight away, WD40 works fine just spray a bit inside the foam and slip it on. Should be fine to ride in a few hours, the WD40 dries out & the grips dont slide at all.

Rally Raid wrench not available in the US ?

I think the guy that designed these crash bars was probably high! Trying to get a torque wrench in that space was almost impossible. I tightened it by hand with a small wrench, and by the time I figured out how to get my torque wrench in that little space, it was already over-torqued. Their torque table also leaves a lot to desire. I hope the quality of the bars itself is better than their design and installation guides. Thanks for the videos! I did both the crash bars and the USB charger at the same time using your videos.

Ohhh, that thing under the key is a switch to release the attachment mechanism lol.. I bought a pair of boxes and a rack and clicked the box onto the rack (not on the bike yet) and had no idea how to remove it, It came with no instructions lol. Also, the best part of the video is when you magically appear via teleportation.
