I’m honestly not too familiar on the difference between years. I think mine is a 2014 and holds up really well. No leaks or concerns yet (*knock on wood*). It’s. A beast to move so I hate beach launches, but harbor launching with the Boone dox system is a breeze. I’m ready to launch in like 10 mins of getting tot he harbor!

I’ve used all sorts. The blue one is a buffalo gear one. This grey one is salty crew that I got half off. Honestly it’s ice insulation is kind of mediocre and it sweats a lot. One positive thing is slight triangular shape with flat base for easier loading of big fish into it. It’s not as bulky as some of the double insulated ones, but you definitely pay for that in the form of your ice melting faster.
Ha, can’t control other people bro. I just try to relax and enjoy my time on the water. We all fish differently and have different ideas of manners 🤷🏻♂️😝
