Ok, here's my pennies worth....you reviewed Kush Clariphonics, and liked it. I thought it looked like a load of hype and I already had Maag with their Air Band. Nope, it is far, far better that I ever imagined. Adds air, sheen and musicality throughout the mids without changing the frequencies. Clever stuff. I also thought, Pulsar Modular side-car... A big name producer pushing it... Must be hype. Nope, it really is good. The 8-bus setting opens out the mix without changing the feel of a track. Excellent. This ADPTR thing...now the interface puts me off. If you guys aren't impressed and I'm underwhelmed by looking at it, then I can't be bothered. Thank you. Love your vids - keep up the great work.
@@IntheDAW I can't seem to get on with SSL. I tried, but I keep coming back to Neve (Noiseash NEED 31102, Voosteq n - I can't decide - I've used both).
PA, Izotope and NI are all running around lost at the moment. Its a real shame as they have been 3 of the biggest respected companies. And yes the CEO stepped down recenty it seemed like the idea of bringing the 3 together under NI was harder than it looked.
Loving the new intro format, you two are some very funny fellas 😂😂😂 About the plugin, I admit I'm a bit of a Plugin Alliance fanboy, but when I saw their video walkthrough of this plugin, I thought "this is some bull$hit plugin". I bet this was aimed at the people who make "beats" in their bedroom, the GUI looks very much like the kind of plugin used to make modern EDM.
This seems like a bit of a pattern for ADPTR, as their previous plugin Sculpt is very much the same sort of thing, just sticking a bunch of different things together and pretending it's something new. And Metric AB, while potentially very useful, is horrendously overpriced for what it is.
A little late seeing this video. I would like to see your thoughts on ADPTR Audio's SCULPT. Older plugin, but a lot of people seem to like it (and it recently got an update). Then again, a lot liked this one too. 😄
I saw this and instantly thought "nah". I don't know their business model but PA could just release less plugins of a higher quality like East West do with their instrument libraries.
Here we are again. Random realization of the moment for me is that i really miss you guys actually showcasing the plugins you are talking about with some sound examples. Don`t need to be an exhausting analysis but simply run ,, even a simple self made beat through it and say „you hear this when i am driving knob X harder? This is why i like this plugin“ (random example). In order to add some context. Or else your videos could just as well be written text if you know what i mean. Talking straight up from the heart with no irony intent. To this plugin now, i own Boost by Ursa and find it fantastic for specific tasks. However when you mentioned the price of this one my chin dropped in a bad way. Even though i am completely covered more than adequately with the best plugins i could wish for , when i see this kind of marketing like „its usually 45.000 dollars but for a short period you can have it for 50 bucks“ i get a negative taste somehow.
There’s a free 14 day trial for you to spend 14 days running your own self made beats through it to see if you think it’s shit. We simply spend a few moments telling you if we think it’s shit or not and why. That’s kinda the point. 🤘🏻

So it's like.. supposed to be their answer to the God Particle.... But "more versatile".... But people like the God particle because it's so simple to use and it doesn't really overdo it much.. And it's hard to make it sound like total s***. And if it does overdue it, you can just turn down the "magic" button. This is obviously something you're supposed to mix through.... It's probably fine.... 😊 It'll be cheap as hell soon for those who really are down with this.
Hype sucks but 2 of the best mastering for dynamics I feel are sculpt from same company like how you can expand or upward compress than change up with the transients very clean sound the steam liner cool also for metering. But I hate this thing tried it.

Appreciated feedback Patrick 👍🍻
Honestly I'm on the same boat. Most of the stuff they like I also like. I've ever started using the ssl stuff they like 😂

This one’s nice on busses to bring details out

Yup I'm sure that these mergers have done somebody some good.
I'm not so sure that it's the customers though ... 🙄

Liking the new intro thing, throws us straight into it. Have you checked the new plugin Korneff just released?
Cheers….we’ll check it out 👍

Love these guys! Feel confident in their conclusions.
Kris Kross I haven’t listened to that shit since pagers and pay phones hahaha
It would be interesting to see out of all the plugins you’ve reviewed, which ones you and Dan are using on a daily basis.
We’ll do that soon 👍
Gonna bet on AMEK mastering compressor 😊
@@StudioLife101 Brilliant! 😁
that price was double what i guessed 😬
Don't need this anyway for any price. lol.
But have you spent time using this plugin? This plugin has been useful on the projects I've used it on.
We spend weeks testing before review....👍
You can just buy Ozone 11 for god sake that's what I'd do

Yeah I actually disagree, much prefer how it’s presented here without examples. You only know if it’s going to work for you if you try it yourself.

It is a very steep price tag for something so simple.

Stream liner is 100% useful. So is Sculpt and Metric AB from ADAPTR Audio
I’ll never be able to listen to Otis Redding again, thanks Dan 🤣
Its extremely good on buses but I agree too much money. I would say $100 max full price.
Deffo silly money 😂
Fucking hell, £299?? Just crack it FFS, it's no wonder people download moody software.
Sitting on the wha…😅. I’ll watch your show even if it is 💩.
😂😂
This one is never gonna go on a good sale.. Adptr plugins are always in the exclusion list for the good sales
it’s happening now, check it out
The design look like a ripoff of Ozone ! At the beginning I tough it came from the same company 😂
I don't think so
@@listenfidi i use Ozone everyday, if i could send you a screenshot with direct comparison you will know what I mean.
Well, technically they ARE the same company now, since Native Instruments bought Plugin Alliance.
@@TheRetroBassistthis explain a lot ! Thanks for the info.
@@TheRetroBassist Plugin alliance has nothing to do with Adptr audio developers, plugin alliance is just a marketplace for some brands!
