It's the nature of living in the UK that you learn to take pleasure in the simple things because everything else is so damned expensive. Cup of tea, marmalade on toast. Humble 250cc motorbike that doesn't bust your balls getting it off the kickstand. We live in a cabin in the countryside. Surrounded by dairy farm's. Cabin life is sweet. City life sucks the joy out of your soul.
I can just imagine how you feel about your Bonneville. After the work that Joe from The Wurks put into it, and all that time and dedication that affords confidence and reliability, it must truly be joyous. Its a beautiful looking bike.
Hi Freddie. Another great look into your world. I am now 71 and been biking since I was 16. What I envy about young people (like you and Monica) today is that with modern technology you can capture great moments with a smart phone. In my day great moments were either committed to a fading memory or required taking a roll of film to be developed only to find half of them were of the top of someone's head or blurred. Capture the moment because now as I scroll through my iPhone pictures I realise they only account for about a 1/4 of my life. Take care and ride safe.
Very true. I'm 60 now. Many years ago I travelled across Canada for 3 months. I'd taken, what I thought were some great photos on my old reel film camera. Then it was stolen. There was one particular photo of 2 Harley riders giving me the V for victory sign as they rode past, that will now only exist in my head. We are very lucky to have instant memories these days.
Hey Gary! I'm 71 too and agree with everything you said. I remember traveling in India and around Asia in the 80s...no internet, no computers of any kind..laptops or smartphones..If you wrote home you would wait at least 2 weeks before a reply collected at post restante Telephoning internationally at the post office was insanely expensive and only for dire emergencies.. I'm digitizing all of my old slides and photos from the 70s and 80s now...take care
I honestly didnt think that you could improve from the last video, yet you always exceed my expectations. I Really enjoy watching you. Cheers from Germany
It takes alot of time and effort to make these videos, so if showing an occasional advert helps sponsor you to continue with these videos, then I'm not complaining. My wife isn't that much into bikes, but she will happily watch you and Monica soak up the atmosphere as you go on your travels. Your style wouldn't suit everyone, but it works perfectly on you. Thank you.
I look at my bike with the same affection ❤ it is just a Japanese 2020 Kawasaki Z400 some will say it is plastic and too modern, there is nothing flash about it, but I love it. It has taken me on so many adventures. Once a bike enters your heart it’s there for ever.
They say you've made the right choice in bikes if, while you're walking away, you turn back to look at it with love in your eyes. I'm so happy I bought my Bonneville. My bike looks just spectacular standing still.
Cheers Freddie, the girlfriend and I started Hello Fresh a few weeks ago and we have been loving it. We figure we are saving money at the grocery store and having a blast in the kitchen together
My first Bonneville was a 1960. They've been under my skin since. Have a 2023 T120 now. Will be my last bike as I'm getting up in years. Enjoy all you can while you can!
That looks like a lovley place to take the bike you love and Monika of course🤣 You did a good save there. Great video as always, good to see you on the Bonnie
Really enjoyed this video as I could smell the working farm😎and further your devotion to your Bonneville because I've felt the same way about British bikes since 1967.
Hi Freddie and Monika. I'm really looking forward to reading your new book... pre order sent. Those cabins look so cosy, must get around to booking a few nights there. Cheers Martin.
Thank you so much for your purchase, Martin. We pick the books up from the printing company in Hertfordshire on the 16th, and will immediately get to work fulfilling the orders. I hope you like it!:)
Pre-ordered the book - it’s a bit spendy but I’m worth it 😂….and you’ve given me many hours of entertainment over the past few years and this looks right up my street 👍

Love to hear what you think about cf moto, love, and voge bikes? They seem to be gathering pace. Some of the cf moto450 vlogs from Asia and Australia make this bike something very special and knock RE out the park let alone the known Japanese brands. Love to hear your thoughts as your reviews are always from the heart and not just technical blurb
For someone who has an amazing channel your not very switched on with simple things, like not putting the key to the D lock with the bike keys. I remember you also left your cash card in the ATM machine on at least 2: occasions. I'm 65 I consider myself lucky that I have never done either of these things. I can only suggest you are easily side tracked or distracted. The best part is you do it to yourself. Its funny looking in but it would frustrate the hell out of me if I did anything like that and I would consider making lists for everything to remind you not to make these mistakes. Put a little note on the inside of your wallet saying CHECK CARD. Put a tag on the inside of your helmet saying CHECK KEY FOR D-LOCK. I know it might sound silly but its better than making yourself frustrated and worse looking silly. Great vlog as always.
Hello Fresh (they've been going for years) gets a little pricey after a while, Freddie, but the recipes are worth keeping hold of, for when you source your own ingredients. It's an idyllic cabin and landscape, Freddie. Enjoy!
I tune in to see Freddie and sometimes Monica., and sometimes the Bonny or other moto. As I'm looking at 4' of snow and totally enjoying videos, its somewhat depressing to see bad comments on your channel. If I don't like something I just move on. Looking forward to the next video. I enjoyed the happy squirrel on the deck. 👍👍
Thank you John and that’s very kind of you to say so. I promise you it’s absolutely fine- I love all comments and enjoy the fact people can feel like they can say anything they want:) Sending you all my very best!
Hi Freddie , Along with everything else, I really appreciate your understated, self deprecating sense of humour. Beautiful cabin and countryside ! Love riding it. Looking forward to hearing more about your book. Cheers!

Q: So why live in SE London? Looks pretty grotty to me and unless you need to be there for your job why live there? You could pretty much live in a multitude of pleasant rural locations and still do the blogs and run your internet business for a fraction of the cost of living in greater London. Always enjoy the vids so keep up the good work! 👍
The ridiculous cladding issues meant we couldn’t sell even if we wanted, although I think that’s sorted now (I think). We haven’t found the perfect place yet, so haven’t quite found the motivation to leave.

Love your vids but that ad was way too long … obviously I skip them but nevertheless if my expectation is that most of a video is going to be an advertisement I’ll probably stop watching them.
This man has been consistently putting out informative well edited exciting and entertaining content for a long time. He doesn’t profess to be a big time producer or director, yet the videos he creates are, in my, and many others opinions, far superior to that of commercial TV stations and/or film companies. One day he will possibly appear on such screens and no doubt usher in a new wave of video content for a new age of viewer and their needs. If not he himself, then others who will copy his style. I also believe his honest, enthusiastic and humble approach to everyone he meets is a positive and thereby important lesson to us all. Andy Lewis do you really have the belief that your threat to stop watching his RUclips videos poses the slightest threat to this articulate, polite and thoughtful man. He has had the graciousness and intelligence to respond to you in a polite and civil manner. I feel I’m correct in saying that the majority of his followers enjoy a more personalised video that he offers. If that means at times we are treated to a trip to Ireland, a roam through the east Anglian countryside or an episode on camping gear selection then so be it. Alternatively you could tune into the masked singer or celebrities trying to escape the jungle (or Farage) and endure the mind numbing commercials in between such riveting content. Point being, lighten up, support such efforts of people like Freddie instead of threatening your precious ongoing (to you at least)support. Humility, thankfulness and appreciation of others efforts is what’s needed here while the rest of humanity does fuck all but troll and criticise others. Doubtless instead of actually thinking over what I’ve written and responding either negatively or in agreement I’ll get more troll like opinionated views in response. Long reply from me, dramatic, overblown, does it really matter? You bet your life it does Either way, go ahead FD, make my day, yet again Ps get a stopwatch, you’ll realise ‘most’ of that video is not an advertisment
We love watching your videos Freddie but as soon as you mentioned being sponsored by Hello Fresh we had to turn this one off. We had a nightmare experience with them and their customer service so NEVER EVER again, as someone already mentioned: wouldn’t recommend them to my enemy. Hope future videos will have better sponsors so we can start watching again.
Sorry Freddie but Hello Fresh has to be one of the dumbest ways of throwing your money away. Simple recipes you can get for free on the internet, then pay half the amount to buy the ingredients, just sheer laziness.

Freddie and Monica, I always wanted to know how long have you both been vegetarians? Also, you look very fit Freddie, but you never talk about or show yourself exercising. What's your fitness regime?
Hi Matty. Nine years vegetarian (it’s actually a 99% vegan diet, in reality) for me. That’s very kind of you to say so! I do five days a week home exercises (one day press up type stuff, the next is dumbbells, the next Pilates).

@ I doubt it. I want to be informed about Motorcycles and associated topics, not food ads…
Better off without armchair critics Freddie, keep up the good work
You mean, like some sort of French Duke lying in a hammock you demand to be entertained for free or at Freddie’s expense. Not a good look my man.
@@CHuzz7777 Not at all. I follow food channels for food, Golf for golf and motorcycle channel for motorcycles. No problem seeing relevant stuff, but no relevance at all. It’s bad enough we get constant ads anyway. My opinion, you don’t have to agree with me.
