Taylor Swift had a historic night at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, securing Video of the Year for ‘Fortnight,’ her collaboration with Post Malone. This win makes her the first artist ever to win Video of the Year three years in a row, extending her record to five wins in total, with previous victories in 2015, 2019, 2022, and 2023.
With 12 nominations, Swift tied Beyoncé as the most decorated VMA winner of all time, surpassing Beyoncé’s solo artist record. Swift now boasts 30 Moon Men, surpassing Beyoncé’s previous record of 26.
Swift also took home Artist of the Year, Best Pop, Best Collaboration, Best Direction, Best Editing, and Song of the Summer.
