just did this to my 21 3.0 premium, improvement yes, but still not great. Overall it was a fun project (minimal cost) and it was worth doing, thanks!

Take it from an engineer there's a reason why you don't pack certain materials around electrical wire. You must make sure whatever you are using is flame resistant other wise any little spark and all engineers will tell you no matter what there will be spark....your car will catch on fire....
What would you sugest that we should use? Something Not super expensive but affordable

Curious i did this mod and yes it did improved the sound bass alot but I am still getting a rattle noise on the left woofer like it sounds blown but the car is new . Even at low volume you can hear that annoying rattle . What you think i can do to fix this? Right sub sounds great no rattle sound just left one
Thanks for watching 👌. I would remove the rear sub panel again and see if I could see any loose bolts.
