I'm wildly tired and it seems like I've been trying to get this video uploaded for a month. I feel like I never have time to finish tweaking a video to my satisfaction anymore, but I'm pretty happy with this one. Shadow Preachers is such a Rolarke song that the clips fell together nicely. A few notes:
1. Zach McGowan. ZACH. MCGOWAN. I love editing his characters and never want to stop. His chemistry with other actors is just...ahh. I want him on every single one of my shows with his smirks and gruff voice and long hair and perfection. Every single show.
2. Roan had better be alive. In the immortal words of a Tumblr blogger that I wish I had credited: "IS ROAN FUCKING DEAD? IS HE DEAD? I'm stabbing a wall right now. Goodbye my patience, I'm IRRITATED!" Couldn't say it better myself. If he's dead the show is stupidly wasting Zach's talent and the billion possibilities of an Ice Nation/Sky People alliance. I need more Rolarke chemistry and jealous Bellamy faces. Please?
3. The jealous Bellamy faces bring me life. I truly ship Bellarke, I promise, but I love the Roan/Clarke chemistry and I love how Bellamy furiously looks back and forth between the two of them as they share knowing I-am-a-leader-of-people-as-well-and-I-feel-your-pain glances. It makes my vidder's heart very happy.
4. Roan is actually hilarious. His gratitude problem quote is one of my favorite moments on the show EVER. Plus, he's always so annoyed at having to be the good guy and I love it.
5. I haven't done any AU/love scene/using Black Sails footage yet. But I've been reading so much Rolarke fanfiction lately (I'm totally that person and hope people start writing more) that it may have to happen. I have a few other very attention-demanding vids begging to be worked on right now, but as soon as those are done, I'm feeling an AU Rolarke vid. Thoughts?
6. I'm 95% sure I had other notes to share with you guys, but I'm half asleep. So if I think of them, I'll add them later. Goodnight my loves and thank you for your endless patience with my sporadic uploads and short attention span.

RIP KING ROAN. he's still missed.
Years later and this still is a masterpiece!! How their relationship was great on the show.. shame they didn't explore it further and it ended the way it did..
I really hated it when they killed him. Especially, at present situation with Echo n Bellamy. It would have been interesting if Roan had lived n wanted Clarke as his queen.
That's probably why I'll never watch it lol. It tore me apart when he was killed in Black Sails. I don't think I could take growing attached to another character of his only to have him killed needlessly.
@@LadyVedder For me it was the opposite ... I lost my favorite character in The 100 THEN in Black Sails XD

I love this! They would be such an amazing couple! An explosive one, but still amazing! I think he's just the right level of maturity and complexity for her,same as she is practically the only one who can understand him and balance him out...Also, I just love how they actually called each other by their names in the last 2 episodes, not just Prince/King of Azgeda and Wanheda - a breakthrough!
I could get behind this idea. ;) I still ship Bellarke, but you wouldn't hear me complaining if IcePrincess happened...I love their chemistry and I've always loved an age-difference ship.
HawkeyeGin13 I would probably ship him with Raven or Octavia more instead. Still, great video 👌
