A great experience, different from having to apply lotion to your skin every day in the hot sun. Sweaty.

Welcome brother. Yes brother. Helping is true power idol.
What an absolutely amazing train ride to Arctic Circle! The journey was filled with breathtaking sights, from snow-covered landscapes to enchanting forests that felt straight out of a fairy tale. Every moment was captivating and truly unforgettable. Two enthusiastic thumbs up for this incredible video!
It looks more comfy than it actually is. Atleast as lightsleeper I was feeling the train moving and every bit of sound the chassis made. But safe arrival and well rested compared to driving through the night.
Train of thoughts!
I loved those old blue train cars, both the sitting and the sleeper cars ❤. The seats were comfortable enough to sleep on, which I often did as I was a poor student frequently travelling from Lappeenranta to back home to Rovaniemi. I still do it sometimes. Just last Tuesday, I took a night train from Oulu to Helsinki. All the sleeping cabins were booked like a month prior, so I had no choice but to sit through the night. The new seats are not even near as comfortable because they're so stiff and hard. But the new cars do have electric sockets next to every seat, so that's a huge plus. I remember charging my Nokia phone while standing at the end of the car, where the only socket was. Or in a toilet of a sleeping car. Neither was technically allowed 😂.
You spoke about the old toilets, but you could've showed them as you had the rare opportunity to be on a train that has them these days. I think the Kolari train is the only one that still uses those old blue cars.
My thougth exactly when I realised (only later) that...WAIT...Didn't this train actually HAVE those old carriages :)
Lappi
Nice Video.
Thanks mate
I wonder if the cabin comes with instructions about "opening the chimney" because I've never seen that kind of paddle in a chimney in other countries. The same goes for the tap that turns the water to the dishwasher on/off in Finnish houses - I've never seen that kind of dishwasher tap outside of Nordic countries.
@@richard-riku vent-free firepllaces do not have thr damper latch and it's okah tl direct burn then. Some of those are even gas fireplaces at some parts of the world.
FI in general has thr damper to.keep the residual heat inside, bjt some parts it seems tl be an forbidden feauture as people cokmd really kill them selves with carbon monoxide poisoning for not opening the damper or closing it too early.
Interestingly enough tourists do not die in masses here.
I think the bird singing comes from a tape though...
I would think so too.
Good job, dont stop filming - audience will eventualy find you. 👍
Rrally, wow!
I'm curious as to..was it fun?
It was! Absolutely!
