If you love Disney you should come down to Marceline The hometown of Walt Disney. There is a historical museum about his life and his family including letters and attractions he brought to the town and a diner filled with drawings he had done while visiting. You can also visit his dreaming tree and the old bar and he used to draw in as a kid.
So the only thing with Tiana the only good thing that came from it cuz it was supposed to be based on the ED Baker books. But in those she is a princess, a real princess and she has a bracelet that if a spells cast at her that her aunt made for her it will reverse the curse. But since she was wearing it and she kissed the frog, she became a frog. It's a really good read. I'd recommend reading them so if you do, you will realize how the movie. It's really a good representation but I think they could have done it more like the. I don't remember the year but there was a Cinderella where all the actresses and actors were all African Americans and it was so such a good one and I don't think it's Disney owned but it was really good movie and they could have done basically eating bakers retelling of the frog Prince's story as the princess and everything and not done a New Orleans one. But the only good thing that came out of that movie other than the representation was Dr. Facilier. He was a better villain than the book villain like the book villain is like. I'd say like an ewok as a villain.
Man if my mid life crisis (coming soon) is anything like this I think I'll be ok. However, Walt Disney was an Evil man, the WD company is beyond evil. I can't even begin to describe the disgust I have for a company I used to adore. It crushed me. However I refuse to support them anymore. I'll watch the movies if they're free. I will not contribute 1$ to their cause. I will take my kids to Disney world because my mom lives in Florida and every kid dreams of going there. I won't take that from them.
Don't get me wrong, your costumes are amazing, you're talented! I love cosplay, Halloween and dressing up in general. I'm just not obsessed with any one type of company or brand. I love AHS, Tim Burton, Horror flicks, science fiction, getting into Anime at 38. I haven't finished stranger things but I dig it. I'm on season 3 and I've already been spoiled.
