Great video! Thinking about heading out to Sundown in a week or so - could you make it through the Rats Castle circuit with 220mm clearance, or is that cutting it fine? That first section looks grim
G'day Jeremy, cheers mate. I couldn't give you a definite yay or nay on that one mate. Been well over a year since I've been there. You can go around that first section as you approach it there is an easier option just to the right of it. However, that last downhill section would be quite rutted. I would say just give it a crack. Especially if you have another vehicle in your convoy. Slow n steady and a bit of track building as well as having a propper look at what line you think your vehicle can tackle. I'm sure you'll be sweet. It's a beaut spot. Camp at rats castle, great swimming hole. Or there is a mint spot on rats castle just after the creek crossing. But anyway enjoy. And I'd love to see some photos and here about your trip there. It's still one of my fav spots.
