Worth mentioning in order to avoid hospital overflowing you could rally a barb fort with low tier troops. These troops will be out of city technically.
i've been using scipio/ysg as city garrison for awhile now ☺, works great getting swarmed in aoo, tried taking a rally during kvk ended up with 500k severe vs 300k dead against boudica/ysg, i shielded before burning tho
@@bannozz i cant find the report of boudica/ysg but i got a ramesses ysg report, i had 2.6m troops got 380k severely vs 210k dead, the rally had 3m troops and i had a pretty bad crystal tech in this one(didnt even have one level of all damage), considering in my case martel/scipio doesnt do that good in shadow legion i havnt tried taking an actual rally with it yet
This is not related to this video, but I saw Sargon's Chinese skill description yesterday and his second skill says he stacks Awed only when he deals SKILL DAMAGE to the target hence that explains why Sargon has DoT on his primary skill. That means Sargon himself can stack Awed 5 times plus Scipio who can stack 4 times but to trigger his fourth skill you'll need that skill damage armament inscription for the tenth Awed stack.
I use the 1st example you showed on Martel skills. Exactly the same. And yeah, people don't use the heal skill. You only get hospital full faster and deads if you can't gem heal or heal fast enough troops between attacks
i think a month ago, I used Guan/Scipio garrison in AOO becouse Guan had my best gear on and my Zenobia was naked, and ooooh boy, what fun i had :)) I have ~150m power, and enemy marches that swarmed me got smashed in 1-2 skills they were popping like popcorns everywhere :D. Even managed to defend some Attila/Takeda, Pakal/Harald and XY/Nevsky rallies, but in the end a proper Boudica/Henry rally wrecked me.
I'm a little disappointed you didn't go into depth on the commanders options VS a swarm. Caeser 2ndary is near god tier. 40% stats to all types. 40% damage bonus. 40% damage reduction once below 60% health. Those flat numbers are extremely strong VS 12x swarm because everything is multiplied to 12 enemies. Attilla might also be a reasonable 2ndary VS 12x swarm. There's a big difference in strategy and commanders when taking a rally VS 5x swarm VS 12x swarm.

How about Shadow Legion? Should we use talents for "rally" or "swarm"? Because sometimes it overlaps multiple waves, and it doesn't let you heal in between 😂
So in the spirit of YSG/Scipio and Guan/YSG, what about YSG/Joan P as a city defense? Wouldn't that also be amazing? Joan P does aoe, adds to the rage gain, and makes them take 5% more damage, and triggers twice bc of her 4th skill? Sounds like you could pump out insane damage, and also wreck any reinforcements coming in.
Use Theo with high damage. Charles is more for f2p. So any high damaged maxed legendary. Nevsky be fine. If you're swarmed though you probably want flat stats or heavy counter attack. Personally I think caeser is underrated VS a swarm but anyone with silence immunity or all damage or normal attack damage reduction/increase also good VS 12x swarms

Should I continue to play this account, or make a new one ?.
Now i tried cm 5513 and guan 5224 during karuak and it slapped against t5 archer. (First soc coming up and no scipio yet). Would you try it or explain if it would be possible because of cm's enhancing and guans high damage

If I had 100k to drop on an account I'd have a account loaded with legendary iconic gear and maxed commanders lol so I'd be harder to hit then city wise regardless lol. What's hard to do as free to play is getting your castle and arrow towers maxed if I had that I'd a had t5 a year or two ago lol

What's the point? If you don't have power, you'll lose the city anyway. So the best defense is not to get into a situation where your city could be attacked.

Chisgule i see it as a standart to take poisonous sting in the archer talent build. No matter if its for open field or for garison. It gives 8% more skill damage to primary AND secondary commander, so are you shure i should not use it when someone is attacking my city? I think it would also be very good when i am using that YSG/Scipio P to defend my city :D
It could be effective during a rally but VS a 12x swarm it's very weak because you'll only be hitting 3 to 5 marches with skill damage leaving the other 7 to 9 marches unharmed.
Tbf this is only worth if you're in an early kvk or if you're a whale. In SoC, all F2P, low spenders and middle spenders' defense will just melt if it's rallied.
If swarmed I think you lose some over lapping shield value but it's probably decent. If swarmed I think yss/Charles better because of the leadership tree option. Probably don't want full garrison tree because the over lapping shield probably don't stack.

That doesn't make sense given the talent tree of garrison the 6% pure damage buff and reduction should give you the more damage based on the numbers. Any idea why you think it's higher?
Lilith should add ways to get YSG and Richard for f2p's who haven't maxed them when they were available in gold chest. And in late game would prefer spending gh on new commander than these old ones
