Thank you for all your videos. I feel I am gradually learning to sing, and also to preserve my voice because your videos are consistently gentle. I am 75 years old. Who would think a voice could start to improve at my age? Thank you so much. J
Wonderful! Keep it up!
Without any further ado at 1:40 😉 Thanks Jeff! 🐯

Hi Jeff, great intervals lesson. fifth is well known in pop music, but I like that exercise (at 20:35 I guess) with intervals of sixth...I guess that interval could sound very nice when you make acoustic music in songwriting, and also in electronic music. in singing is excellent for range covering. That's a great idea in the vídeo. Thank you 🎤🎶🙌
Awesome! Thank you for your kind words and thanks for subscribing!

I have a question about intervals. Once you know the intervals you can go from pitch to pitch easily enough when you know which interval you wish to use. But in music you see notes on a page and have to go from one note to another which means when you are see C3 followed by G3 that's a fifth but then G3 followed by D4 you need to know that also is a fifth. Easy enough to count but in singing, there is not much time to count. Do you memorize the intervals between all notes so when you see two notes together you automatically know the interval you will need? The idea being that you see and then know the pitch you want as opposed to hearing it played and then matching your sung note to the played note? Is singing by sight done in real time or something that is worked out first however long it takes and then remembered for subsequent performance?
I love it. Questions from Comments 50!
