    It did work for you. The can instructions were exactly as you experienced for your specific situation.

    My 05 4runner would leak out a can of freon in 1 hour from the evaporator. R.A sealed it and it's been over a month. One thing to remember is the expansion valve is basically a leak so it could clog the expansion valve. From forums I read sometimes it is necessary to add a couple of more cans of freon before it finally seals.

      ahhh ok I understand... Mine was a big hole.. i just show NOT to us this product if you hole is big... On Ac units i wouls try not to us these products... Later my Ac compressor went also... Glad it worked for you, but on a old unit its best to stay away from it ( i think )

    You can’t fix the hole in the titanic with a can of red angel either.

    when you can hear the hissing you got a leak the size of fatal when its applied on human body. replacing parts is what you should do. these stops leaks for seals, gaskets, connectors, or ones around 1mm sizes.

      @bstfordchannel923  3 года назад

      very true.. this video was for those that NOT to do this if you can hear a leak

    Worked fine on mine for over a year now. But mine did not sound like a cow farting through a funnel. Mine would stay charged for two weeks before shut down. But also let me say it was a beater and any repair would have cost more than the truck was worth, leak was under the dash ! I am not much on snake oil additives but this worked for me.

    • @bstfordchannel923
      @bstfordchannel923  5 лет назад

      I knew going in this wouldnt work ( for the leak i had ) I was making video FOR THOSE that THINK this can fix big holes... This aint that I replace the part and kept it moving.. I very happy that it worked for you... Its designed for the beater cars and truck Herm I wish i had that kind of leak you had

    Red Angel has worked well for me for two summers. It fixed my AC problems immediately. It was an easy fix otherwise I would have to pay a mechanic 180 bucks for the same repair

    You have to hook a vacuum pump onto. Y our A/C . it has to get your system pressure to 29 psi below 0 . if it does not and it goes to only to - 24/25 then the leak is small , probably from cracked seals/O/rings, and the seal and will work . But if there are "Structural" damages to the "Evaporator" and/or the "Clondensr" the sealand will not work.

      i know all what you mentioned and thank you for the detailed comment Andreas, but I was just showing those that may think that this stuff works for anything,.. They should ever use this ever

    Now's your chance to learn a high dollar skill. Take your time and be methodical, no shortcuts, and change you evap core (do the heater core while you're there). So long as you stay calm, and don't even think about any shortcuts, you'll be fine. And then you can pick up AC and heater core jobs which charge out at atleast $1600+ here in NC. You could be bringing in a tax free Grand a day if you do quality work and build a good reputation.

    • @bstfordchannel923
      @bstfordchannel923  6 лет назад

      Your correct on that.. those job pay and pay quite nicely .. I didnt do what i was set out to do. i suppose to have the other car ready ( for work ) as a back-up , but i bought the truck so NOW i have to connect the dots and take my time and do the car properly

  • @Mike-vt6is

  • @rustybrowneye

    On the upside when you change that evaporator you don't got to pull the dash. that's a plus most cars you do

    With the $$$$$$$ of the repair of the evaporator core, if you won big at Vegas or the lottery, fix it.....donate your car to an organization, then go get yourself another car with AC.

  • @462ANIMAL
    @462ANIMAL 6 лет назад

    The evap core wont take you long to change.. mine is still holding I think I ordered a 4 seasons one for rock auto.. dont forget to get a new orifice tube. I think it has a red one .. I put a orange one in mine.. I need to check the pressure.. it could be colder.. tho it's crazy hot...the last few days
