I miss the original Midnight Sons team with the Nighstalkers, Darkhold Reddemers, Blaze, and GR. Man those were good times! Wish there was a Nightstalkers omnibus.
That was the best version of the team. I'm still waiting for marvel to release the trades of Midnight Massacre and Siege of Darkness to complete my set. Those were some good stories.
@@blackthunder4406 Yes I would love to see those! I picked up the original Rise of the Midnight Sons years ago as well as the Spirits of Venom storyline that involved Spidey and Venom. Great stuff.
Hell yea, Midnight Sons was my favorite group to read in Marvel! I hope they bring the original team back too. I know Vengeance recently had his own one shot so fingers crossed!

Sons of Midnight is Ghost Rider, Blaze, Nightstalkers, Darkhold and Morbius. I really hope they start with these guys
Ghost Rider was always (and still is) my favorite character. I couldn't get enough of the Midnight Sons titles back in the day! I still have most of these comics mentioned in this vid. I so regret selling the ones I don't have so now I'm on the hunt to complete my Midnight Sons collection again. I know in August there's gonna be a Spirits of Vengeance Spirit Rider one-shot so I hope the Midnight Sons are coming back soon!

Many MCU characters can take care of Thanos when he doesn't have the infinity stones.

I've collected the current run and the 90s run of Midnight Suns Unlimited and the rise of the Midnight sons.

I remember reading the midnight Suns around 40 years ago and also the doctor strange title at that time great story great art it sparked my imagination one of the best marvel series ever

This is number one and close number 2s and 3s are dark avengers and current gaurdians of the galaxy with cosmic ghost rider, silver surfer, Adam warlock, moon dragon, giant groot, phyla vel, nova and some others

thats what they are going for at the moment. This is just my speculation, but its gonna be watered down character wise. So this is breathing life into something that was "unforgettable". Personally i like the direction Kevin Feige is going. I'm crossing fingers for the future
Actually, i think you mean to say that DCs justice league dark is Marvels Midnight Sons. This is team is WAY older than JLD. Its basically where DC got the idea from.

Awesome Upload!!! Especially, for a quick rundown of all the different Supernatural Heroes, who joined the Midnight Sons, over the past 30 years!!! Because I remember collecting all of those issues back in the early nineties, after getting Honorably Discharged, from the Army!!! However, the earlier series with the original Midnight Sons, is the Best!!! I only wish that Marvel would make a Werewolf by Night movie after Moon Knight!!! And , do the series with true justice by Adding, Lilith and Zarathos, to the Bunch!!!

I really hope these guys will be added to the MCU. It will be interesting to look at the darker side of the Marvel Universe and it’s supernatural elements but then again, I’m afraid that they will also butcher these characters since the midnight sons is a dark group in nature. But thinking of Multiverse of Madness, Moon Knight, and Werewolf by Night, it just proves that maybe the MCU isn’t afraid to get dark and horrifying when the narrative calls for it. With the upcoming Blade movie, crossing my fingers that this group will make it’s way to the big screen.

Love love love the Midnight Sons. Mostly the original 9, with friends (Mordred, Jinx) but I always felt Werewolf by Night and some others should have been included, so I’m glad they have been in later iterations. What I don’t like is when regular heroes are members…like Iron Fist and as much as I love Ben, Scarlet Spider shouldn’t be a member either.
The only way I see a Spider-Man character fitting in is with the magic spider totem link and iron fist seems too street tier and random for him to fit compared to someone like blade who is street tier but a way more fitting personality
Call me crazy but in my head canon the Midnight Sons and the Midnight Suns is a different team so i dont care if the name changed so ppl can differentiate. The Midnight Sons roster is relevant to the matter of supernatural kinda things meanwhile the Midnight Suns are not. Those devs literally put iron man, cap, capt marvel, and wolverine so the game will sells to the general audience lol.

What happened to the Spirit of Vengeance that had Blaze, Ketch and Vengeance?
Vengeance recently had a one-shot where he escaped from hell with the help of Skinner and now he is officially back in the 616! It was an awesome issue and I hope there is more Vengeance coming!

Yea, unfortunately Ryan Reynolds didn't do him justice in Blade 3(Trinity). I hate how they depicted the Nightstalkers in that!

Ahh, the good old days. When you could get a damn good story in only 6 issues. I can't read them now with the 20 or 30 issues they put out to tell a single story that's not even that good.

They are slowly building them. We already have Strange and Moon Knight. Jack Russell, Elsa Bloodstone and Man-Thing just arrived earlier and Blade is on the production as well. We will eventy get all of them but not now.

Reminds me of the Supernaturals from E-98091 where the main heroes we all know vanish While trying to bring their mother back from the dead, two small boys create a Chaos! event that rids the world of all non-magic powered superhumans in it. 13 years later, the same circumstances leading up to that event are evident again. An attack on Dr. Strange's home leads Brother Voodoo to assemble 5 others in hopes of stopping the event & Jack O' Lantern; Doctor Voodoo, Werewolf by Night, Ghost Rider, Satana, Gargoyle. Other monsters/ creatures appear; Living Mummy, Dracula
, Frankenstein's Monster, Scarecrow, Headless Horseman, El Chupacabra, Zombie, Jester, Droom
, Gorgolla, Grogg, Groot (yes that "I Am Groot", the original version), Grottu, Gruto, Moomba, Rommbu. But the heroes are not alone Shroud
, the Nightstalkers, the Witches of New Salem, Agatha Harkness, Hellstorm & Hellcat, Cloak & Dagger, Mordred, Ulysses Bloodstone, & Morbius all show up in the finale. Would have loved to seen more of them.

I like how they did both ghost riders at the end of the movie big fan service and an unfortunatebuild up of a possible prequel...and that must have been fun to say lillith and lillin that many times it was like a tongue twister

Check your time-line, the Ghost Rider revival with Mackie, Saltares and Texiera came out several years before X-Men #1 came out. The X-Men revival probably fueled the Midnight Sons but not the Ghost Rider stories.

Why is captain marvel and iron man in the game? They don't fit the theme. If they really wanted to push the avengers aspect at least Thor might make some sense
Guessing Iron Man is to draw people not familiar with the _Marvel: Mystic_ family of stories, and MCU Cpt. Marvel is just to get as much use out of the ruined character before having to replace her...
