I just planted a bunch of winter crop seeds in my high tunnel here in Kentucky. First year trying to plant this early, but our snow just melted and we have at least 2 weeks of temperatures in the 50's, so we are giving it a go.
I am a market farmer here in South Carolina. I'm glad I don't have to deal with any temperatures below 28 degrees. This winter it has not gotten below 32 degrees where I live. We farm year round here, so we don't get a break, that is the only downside.
That's awesome! I follow Roots and Refuge Farm down there and it's so fun to see the difference in season between here. What do you grow in the winter?

You should do great! It's easier there than here!
