Edit 2 Note: I had a section that said that opponents had not made any plans to repair the dam. I removed that after a community member pointed out that this statement is not technically correct. Opponents have proposed a plan of pouring concrete in the dam breaches, and even recruited a contractor to help. But what I was trying to communicate was that without a pathway to getting permits and millions for a new fish ladder, this idea is not realistic, it's just wishful thinking.
