    That first fish is one of the major reasons I don't fish swing hooks. If a fish gets a good angle and it is strong enough it will just pop the hook right off. Doesn't happen alot but it is not something I risk. I also feel that it is both harder to hook and keep fish hooked despite their design claiming it is better. The only advantage is that you can put your own hook on if you like.

    What is the size limit for both stripe and fluke in CT? Long Island girl here

    • @nextdriftfishing
      @nextdriftfishing  6 месяцев назад +1

      Stripers are on a slot limit. Keepers can be 28-32 inches. One per angler. Anything under 28 or over 32 must be released. Fluke right now is 19 inches. 3 per person
