1:06 look at the attention to detail on that steering wheel adjustment column. There's no empty space, no visible hole and the area is covered by some aluminum looking trim. Modern "luxury" Mercedes only has cheap plastic with a visible hole in it.
Ive got this Car and yet I watch this Video over and over again (for fun) as I cant describe... (not in this comment section) just how funny it is to hear about of its "shortcomings" (which get described in the second half of the clip) Because really, in reality, for real; in today's car scene (and Ive lowerd mines with Lowring Links and it sits on Polished Rotiform CCVs) the car is an absolute SMASH! Read this properly again: "A SMASH!" In the show scene the response from the people them is unbelievable, (and they are only seeing it parked up, my stance is killer), and in the streets though, it's seldom that I have to bow down to nothing! That has to be a really high end something V12, driven even harder, by someone far darker than me. Man...Dudes... please take my testimony to heart: This car is Super Smash!
I have the 01 s55 with abc suspension Not sure why or who would be driving all crazy like that with a car that’s 5,155 pound . The ride is perfect and makes other cars feel like ur riding on a lawnmower Down the highway in comparison. 😊
Great car it was best S coupe until w217 come out but still it is great filling of the drive & still lightweight luxury coupe 2110-2120kg not shore it is with fuel or without but my CL 55 AMG 01 model weights with full of fluids & full of fuel & 19inch wheels 1976 kg
Heavennnnnnnnn!!!
I remember watching this episode as an adolescent loving this car and playing the shit out of it and Gran Turismo 2.
Wow now THAT'S a handling course!
Right?!?! I want private lessons on this course in my CL. Holy cow.

If u write on aired year, it would be great.
True
CL 600 came out in early 2000. I guess it aired somewhat around that.
Napa leather 🎉
Strange that it came with 17" wheelz factory for such a big car.
Better for comfort with fatter profile tyres
We are talkıng 2000 and the sedan model came out in 1998!

60 MPH in 6.2 seconds, and breaking distance of 125 feet? Huh. Motorweek managed 5.9 seconds and 112 foot breaking distance.
...only 17 inch wheel and 225mm tire with lots of profile.
Better than modern low profiles lending hard ride and prone to punctures
Are you black?
Not 17 ft long more like around 16 ft 6!
Justa sales brochure.
title sucks. This was made June 1998 - February 2006
