@@williamgrant1103 You’re basically saying the SEC is a weaker conference than the BIG 10. In that case, why wouldn’t you want to play in the better of the two? To be considered a great team, you have to win in a conference with great teams.
Lemon is the WR we thought #1 would be. Same thing with Lane and #2. The 4⭐️s have out perform the 5⭐️s. Maiava will throw some nice passes and then force unnecessary throws. I just don't think he's elite and what SC needs at QB.
Great Comeback Win! OL play was impressive. Great to have EG back! Braylan Shelby had a Day and played high impact ball. The Lemon-Lane tandem will be the best in the nation next year. However, we need much better and more consistent play at QB1, or we will have another mediocre season next year. Joyner-Jackson would have been a great Thunder/Lightning tag team. It's a shame that we let Joyner get away...
I will say I'm glad we didn't call a timeout at the two. The idiot announcer doesn't understand that had we took the TO and ran the ball and got stop the game would have ended before we could get to the line. So we kept it in case we got stopped short throw or pass
Never put urself in a position where 1) a sack ends the game, and 2) leaves no time for a chip shot FG to tie the game to OT. I think LR made the right decision there
Congrats USC and hope you build on this for the 2025 season. I'm ALL SEC but not so much so, that I don't give props to those outside our conference who earned it. The SEC has 2 dominant teams this year, Georgia and Texas. Everyone else is riding their coat tails.
The long-term questions still need to be answered. Lincoln Riley seems to be over his head at critical times during a game. I am frankly not sure he can handle all the duties of a HC at this level. He continues to make dumb decisions, and this is his third year so I don't see this going away.
Yea I was about to say that didn’t make any sense the players weren’t even able to get up to the line of scrimmage because the refs were having a meeting on top of the ball.
It’s part of the rules that the officials have to allow the defense time to substitute if the offense substitutes first. If the offense substitutes late in the play clock the defense can slowly take the field and force a timeout or delay of game. As an offensive coach you know you need to sub early or you risk this happening. The refs did nothing wrong and did exactly what the NCAA rule book said they should in that situation.
Another SEC thug team goes down to the Trojans proving the SEC JUST AIN’T THAT GOOD! The Trojans were firing on one cylinder and still manhandled another overrated SEC team. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

At 24-7 I was ready to turn it in for the night living on the East coast this game ended at like 2AM but I’m glad they somehow pulled it off. This USC team is extremely odd too say the least, they were literally in every game this year and had a chance to win them all but found ways to lose very frustrating and hopefully the players and more importantly the coaches learn from these mistakes. Fight on here’s too 2025.
