Stewart Copeland is great, but he's not the only composer featured here. Someone else did the Hero's Tail OST, and a second composer helped with Spyro 3
@@BatsOnSaturn All 3 games were multi-million sellers and he had a good run on the GBA in addition to starring in a billion-making reboot. Despite this, he's barely noticed in the "RUclips gamer" scene. It's just not fair!
@@redcherry8137 I find MANY PS1 games give me backrooms vibes.. It's that strange level/lack of detail and often times ominous "ethereal" but upbeat music. I think "uncanny valley" fits as a descriptor.
Those calm beats... those "hopless" beats... those "4 am beats"... NONE OF THAT, will compare to old school game beats💯 this is true healing music. 2023, 2024 and maybe so on have lost the true spirit of good music in games but bless the existence of these beats😢💯🔥🙌
Some of the best music ever composed hands down. Even the mixing is so clean and perfect. It being a 90’s game on a CD blew my mind as a kid. To have the reignited trilogy was nice but nothing touches the nostalgia and mastery of these games like playing it for that first time. Timeless and almost a perfect ambience for life. Stewart Copeland knows how to score. 💙🙏🛸
Very surprising view count.. Less than 6k?? I listen to this playlist often when writing essays. It's got just enough energy to keep me vibing and working without being distracting. Guess that's the point of VG music, eh? Thanks InnocentBatty and thanks Stewart Copeland for helping my productivity!
It's p much the same as Shadow the Hedgehog and Sonic 06, people forget how good the OSTs were because of how the gameplay was. It's not fair to dismiss something unrelated to gameplay because of your experience :v
The Lost Fleet prototype is so much more interesting than what we got. Of course, it’s a nice song but the prototype fits the ghostly atmosphere so much better ❤
I have to say, the Hero's Tail stuff being intertwined in here really caught me off guard. Still some good songs, but just wasn't expected, double so with that didgeridoo-like thing quick at the intro. XD Thought a Ty track got mixed up.
It was the last "classic" Spyro game before they moved on to The Legend of Spyro, it may play differently but it still has that core experience tied-in. Even back then we all just called it "Spyro 5".
I adore this mix... sometimes when i hear some riffs, bells, claviers or smt else from Spyro OST in modern or old-style music i feel this reference and remind only Spyro and this style is so well known and recognisable. Adore this really. Thanks for this work its amazing and the composer is a genius as well
I plan to make more in the future, but my intent was to compile it into one big video you can leave running while you study or relax. I might leave shorter ones to games that have minimal entries/sequels though.
The sound composer is legendary. The world and his compositions really take you to a new place and encapsulate the mystical beauties of Spyro's world
He's also a famous rockstar and was the drummer for the band police ❤🌈

Spyro is horribly under-appreciated.
Even if he has a remake he's still not as well-known as Crash :/

I still remember the backroom vibes this game had, everything felt just right though every little item and secret was so crisp

Yes sadly he seems to have really been forgotten, but it makes sense his true series ended in the early 2000s. It's still sad though
I wish spyro music was on spotify
a lot of it is - if you search Spyro/Stewart Copeland
@ oh idk how I never seen that thank you
Spyro will always have a place in my heart and soul. I like his games more than Crash's.

this is some schizophrenic text

Golden age of video games
Absolutely wonderful tracks!! I'm so addicted to this OST. I only played Year of the Dragon on ps1 as a child. Need to get the Reignited Trilogy!
I recommend the originals more than Reignited honestly. They're much more charming and full of personality.
@ Yeah I will probably play both at some point. I already played the first one in Reignited and really enjoyed it

Thanks for including spyro 4 and 5.
Real fans acknowledge the good inside the bad
i love you for including hero's tail and etd.
They ARE Classic Spyro games!! ^^
Same
OK, why didn't anybody tell me enter the dragonfly had a BANGER ost?! I knew the game was buggy and bad, but these tracks are GOD tier!

Thank you for uploading this and making the world a better place!
Glad you like it!!! I'll probably make another whenever an eventual Spyro 4 is released
56:22 hits that nostalgia nerve hard. So many games from that era had amazing ending credits music.

BANGER mix! Was nice to listen to the music out of order and not all from the same games soundtrack!
this is everything to me thank you so much
Innocent batty you are the goat
💪💪💪💪
This is an absolutely wonderful compilation, thank you so much for this!!
This makes me so happy ❤
Dang 8:30 goes hard
🗣️✨🔥
this is great, do you think you could make a shorter one? ....trying to download it onto my dumbphone lol

Obey
Part 2 plzzz
Not until we get Spyro 4, I might release mixes of other games however.
J'adore SPYRO ! +1 abonné. Signé objectif 1er youtubeur de france 2026
WHERE'S COLOSSUS???!!! :((((
Colossus isn't really a relaxing track as it goes a bit harder than the others
So where’s the title of the tracks? You gotta make a transcript.
I tried to make it when I posted this, but I've had no luck even with timestamps being there
