I did. Eliza knew it was definitely not a real idol, but she played it not because she was hoping that it was real, but she is such a drama queen and wouldn't go out without a fight. Besides, if she didn't play it and instead announced it out, she possibly wouldn't be able to sniff out Ozzy and rat him out.
It is never mentioned, but this is the moment when Ozzy blinside began to prepare. Eliza exposed him and he confirmed that when Jeff threw the fake idol into the fire. After this everybody was aware that Ozzy had and idol

Even if she thought the stick was an idol (she didn't), she knew the votes are against her. It's not a blindside when you know you're getting the majority of the votes.
I love her so much even in her first season. I just feel so bad for her this season being aligned with the wrong people and with how Pavarti's being really bitchy to her.

I love Eliza and this was NOT a blindside. Eliza knew she was going so she planned on exposing Ozzy having the real idol by playing the fake idol.
