Some good items here. All decent, but personally I can't go cheap on the hard drives & SDCards anymore. I've switched to SSD's and the V90 Cards. The speed is worth the money for me. I do understand the whole theme of this video so I get it. 😀 Powerstrips/stingers are 100% required to have in your kit! I can't tell you how many times I've gotten to a location to only find one or two plugs total and not where I need them! Nice job Jared.

I couldn't agree more and personally, I do also shoot the V90's most of the time and I'm always editing off of SSDs, but I do remember when I first started out.. Finding budget friendly options that were usable was a tough process.
Stingers are such a "boring" piece of kit, though right? Like, who the heck wants to tote around extension cords and power strips? But man... they're invaluable!

I just use a long neck strap that I can swing to the side, lets me choose in the moment if I want it around my neck or over my shoulder and I use the K&F one so it has the disconnects.
One benefit of a good SD card reader is speed. The ones built into most things are terribly slow, if I'm moving over 30GB or something of data it's a lot better to have one with a high rated speed and get 100+MB/S but you need to look at 3rd party reviews to figure out what reader is good for that.

that's not a bad idea, actually! Being able to use it as a neck strap, or to the side is super versatile!
In regards to the Card Reader, you've hit the nail on the head.. I've also been in several professional scenarios where you are working with multiple photographers.. which means you may be handed a card style that you don't always use.. so having a reader that can handle various card formats/styles is super helpful and ensures you can handle any card that's thrown your way!

Nice Video. As a camera strap i like to use the Peak Design Slide (around 50 to 60€ used).
It can be easily be removed and therefore doesn't get in the way when working with a tripod.
I use the following setup as a shoulder strap (as a right-hander).
One attachment (Anchor) in the top left corner and one in the bottom left corner (with a Cheese-mounting-plate/ Rig (around 10 to 20€), for example).
This means that it always hangs in the same place and is always within easy reach.

@@wamswolf3372 oh that is also a great solution! I also use a few of the peak design options as well, and they are very well made and very handy indeed!
