Lovely! I personally hope that Radek Baborak has a long life and a large family of brothers, sisters, sons daughters, in-laws and hordes of students who are all horn players!
Still do not understand why a MUSICIAN like Radek has so low # of views comparing many other 'artists' trying to be only 'interesting' at all cost, they are really not?
From john peter bouchard with profensuc. Quelle magnifique interprétation. Le talent, la classe, la simplicité mais pas la facilité. L'intelligence du jeu de nos aïeux (toutes écoles confondues). Un artiste. Merci
It's nice and all, but watching the whole video, I didn't see him use the F side of the horn one time. So many pros are terrified of the F horn these days. Why do they bother hauling around all that extra weight?
At 4:30 he uses the F side. And I have to say, I play everything on my double, even though I might not use the F side for some pieces. It's like saying 'why do you take your 6 gear car if you only use 4 gears for a certain trip'. It's what feels comfortable. For many musicians their instrument is like a prolongation of their body. You spend hours a day trying to feel at ease on an instrument. So as far as I'm concerned, whether or not I use my F side, I'll always use my double horn (unless I'm playing on period instruments of course). That's my view.
@@vascopinheiro812 , you dont know me. Im french horn player as well and i still think that Baborak is a poor horn player, either you like my opinion or not.
@@Davicokeiro ahahah ok, each one likes different things. But Baborak wilk never be a poor horn player. He is the absolutly GOAT of the horn, and an amazing musician too.
@@Davicokeiro :D You're funny : ) I am wondering why people still does complain about something or someone which is *a way* beyond them. I would like to see you on that stage! (:
That little twinkle in his eyes afterwards, like: "Well guess who just made it." So great and a great performance!!!
I don't think people realize how hard it is to play this without cracking a single note....this is incredible!
Im not sure, he played that frack so well it sounded like a grace note :D Sheer skill XD
this is the mast difficult concerto I played over my life and I played this concerto only once
Marc Simard college audition I’m guessing?
Actually he did crack three notes. Funny enough two were in the simplest spots. That said I thoroughly enjoyed this masterful performance.
A tip : watch series at KaldroStream. I've been using it for watching loads of movies recently.

Sasa Whare Most citzens doesn't even know the horn.

A truly remarkable performance only let down by the passionless accompaniment.

After he finishes he raises his eyebrows and looks at the camera.
I never heard him crack in my life until now, even the gods mess up
Nope, perfect.
je préfère Baborak ici tout en finesse et souplesse ce qui me fait oublier Schumann et Mozart un peu trop marqués
