SprintCarUnlimited 90 at 9 for Thursday, September 12th: What is the future for Selinsgrove Speedway

The situation at Selinsgrove Speedway is dicey at best with lawsuits and non-payments piling up for ERS Promotions. On Wednesday, the fair board released its first statement on the situation, so we figured we would take a look at the options for the board on today's edition of the SprintCarUnlimited 90 at 9.

The first thing is the fairboard needs to sell. They have been offered by Tony Stewart, Mike Heffner, and many others that would keep this a racetrack. They have done nothing for the track and are the whole reason why they are in this situation with ERS promotions.

Obviously the fair board is getting there lease money...
Otherwise they wouldn't need to worry about "breaking a contract".....
So there making money one way or the other
Once they are not getting paid.. they don't end up breaking the contract.. promotion company did

Sad seeing this track go through the problems it’s going through it seems like it’s always had problems even the days I’d run Clinton county then head there to fill the field on off weekend with ESS and still have a short Field of cars and it was a good way to make an easy $ 150

There's no way this track will ever be able to be sold and made into a development. The environmental concerns alone would keep a buyer away.
