- Can we all just appreciate how much effort they put into ruining the comments section?
Welcome back to another edition of me getting irrationally angry at stupid things online. This time we're talking about the people who are currently all over the comments section on youtube. People like X, Chicken, and Lakelol want you to think that they're just innocently leaving comments on videos that they enjoyed, but as you're about to see that couldn't be further from the truth. From being straight up cringe and annoying, to leeching off of bigger creators, to literally stealing other people's hard work, there's no lengths that these guys won't go through to get just a drop of relevancy online. Except for work hard apparently.
This video took a while to make and again, it's probably one of the most important videos that I'll ever make so if you liked it, I'd appreciate it if you left a like or a comment.

I’m assuming to resell the accounts later or use it themselves, relevancy is the most interchangeable motive
Good question. They do this for one of two reasons. Either to promote a service/scam, like Crazy's $750 verification, or Scythe's subscriber scam. Or, they do it because they want to make content, have relevancy, and have RUclips as a job, without the work it takes to grow their channels naturally. Like I said in the video a lot of these guys that do this were failed youtubers, who don't realize that the reason why they didn't grow was because they just didn't make good content. They're hoping that by buying a channel they can skip the part of content creation where you have to gain an audience. And if the channel fails to keep people's attention, they resort to either uploading generic shorts content, or selling the account so somebody can start over with it.

It also makes it hard to trust anybody with a check mark. Which sucks cause there's a lot of legit people who comment on videos who get mistaken for one of these guys

Interesting video. Not a bot or anything but I believe one of them tried to hijack my channel on discord, but I was smart and figured out what was truly happening. Also in this group chat some of them invited me in. They were charging $500 for the AI comment generator script.

I feel like more people need to know about the “hide from channel” feature. If you select that on a comment on your own video, any comment from that person on any video on your channel just goes into the void. No one else but them can see it. Great way of dealing with these people and I don’t understand why other creators don’t use it other than just not knowing it exists.

@@TomatoTrap It comes from the saying "making it out of the hood" but you might already know that. It originated as a meme a bit ago on TikTok where people would comment it on stuff and then it migrated over to RUclips and well.. RUclips comment sections don't really have a knack for letting memes go. It was funny for a bit on TikTok for when people made trash music and people used it to joke about it, but it was short lived. But again, RUclips commenters are addicted to likes so when they see that those comments get likes, they'll comment it themselves.
I am actually so thankful that people are realizing this issue. We absolutely need these commenters to stop. I started this channel back in 2019 when they began to emerge, and I'd reply to them, saying something along the lines of:
"Attention, this commenter gains subs and later sells their accounts, feel free to ask me anything".
I still do this, and you could potentially find some of my replies

Also those smooth brain kids glaze him crazy in the replies, which they could possibly be an alt or a friend. I say that because there is another commenter "happwer" and they are not a bot, their comments are actual comments, they aren't in EVERY SINGLE video, they buy memberships and the most obvious part to why they are legit: they get hate comments, almost no glaze and everyone says "omg ur a bot🤓🤓🤓" when people like x get glaze comments.

The funniest thing is the ‘chicken’ channel commented on a video talking about how 2015 kids remember a song called “stressed out” or what not and it brings back memories. So in the fan base of that band, we call the band twenty one pilots or just tøp. People get mad if you say 21 pilots. So the chicken channel commented saying something like “21 pilots makes so many bangers”. And the comments under that were hilarious, just roasting him and calling him out for saying the bands name wrong. 😂

I've seen these accounts everywhere. I initially have posted shorts resulting in my long-form videos getting a lot less views although my channel size is larger which makes people think my channel is botted or illegitimate. But these accounts definitely have a very odd strategy.

I spent months building a realistic church in minecraft and got 102 views and 2 subs vs a RUclips short I made that is a clip from Phineas and ferb in black and white. I get 10,000 views on that short and 15 subs so I’m about ready to quit. And it doesn’t help that these bots are getting 100,000 subs from commenting on these low quality shorts!

They subscribe to a lot of youtube shorts chanels
They go to "subscriptions" tab
They go to shorts within the subscriptions
There you go, few minute old videos from popular chanels, make some crappy comment to make little Timmies laugh and go to the next one.
fun fact : people who makes youtube shorts are mostly gonna get any views on their long form content and people who make long form content will mostly get a lot of views on their youtube shorts
The REALLY worst part is that they dont annoy the creators. It takes just 2 clicks to shut them up forever on any channel, but the creators themselves just dont give af. Thats the problem, everyone is ok when their comment section is polluted by these idiots. Hope youll get to read this comment
It sucks cause it really is just that easy to get rid of them. But since a lot of the bigger creators prioritize their next videos they just don't go into the comments section enough to know about it. This video got a lot more views than I was expecting though so hopefully the message got through to at least some of them.

Do you think, commenters who use too many emojis are spambots too or just a bunch of kids who don't know how to use technologies? I get them often and I immediately delete and block them all, because they're just so annoying (sorry if this question already exists and also, sorry for bad grammar)
Something like that happened on my video called the final Raccbag video. I'm pretty sure they're bots, or maybe even hacked accounts that get used as bots. Some of the accounts that commented had a lot of subscribers somehow. I deleted a lot of them but I'm keeping the rest of them there in case I need it for a future video.
This video has enlightened my thoughts on these comments. The way you talked about how the verified comments are made by the user, I always found them so hilarious.

I noticed this issue too and I am really glad this video exists as I was so confused about it.
Whats really sad is that there are most likely some very underrated comments on very popular videos that get overshadowed by Verified youtubers
