2:56 gave me so much deja vu and i cried a little since i felt something ive never experience before

I mean I remember watching Mr. Beast back when he was still donating to random streamers. It’s not that I say I *hate* him, because there was a period of time as he was growing where he was genuinely doing good things, and having fun doing them, but the more he grew, the bigger he got, the more the company grew, the less personal it felt. Is he a horrible person? I don’t know. Did some of his close friends turn out to do some horrendous shit? Yes. Do I think he knew? Not sure, I didn’t dig deep enough to know. However, I do see that a lot of his more recent videos are him doing a lot of things that are genuinely harmful to himself, and he’s miserable by the end of the video, and he’s always looking for something to top the last thing he did, like he climbed on the hamster wheel and all he can think to do now is spin it faster. It’s a slippery fucking slope. It genuinely feels like he’s lost the plot. Like he used to be a very down to earth guy, and the bigger he got, the more he lost himself to the slaving grind of “more, better, faster, stronger, bigger.” He’s not even really a person anymore, he’s a personality.

jack wasn't my only reason i stayed away from mr beast but he is one reason I started thinking more critically about mr beast's content. Like, if mr beast actually wanted to help ppl then why does he make ppl compete for money that could change their lives forever & possibly lose that chance if they don't win. His style of editing sucks too imo, that could be my taste in vids tho, that part isn't objective; but yea, the fact he makes ppl compete for money is so fucking weird & made me grossed out. even when friends would suggest watching his content to laugh at made me feel just gross because of the way he makes ppl compete over life-changing stakes. It's just not right. edit: also if anyone sees my comment & thinks i'm just being sensitive, i would think ur just callous & don't care enough about others, i don't rly care, it's my opinion & ur entitled to urs as well, I don't care to argue.

It's prety common in the spanish yt community to see true crime youtubers do other things while talking about horrible stuff ( make up, food, etc), which I've always been weirded out by honestly. Like if it was a casual video mentioning a case or not going into detail, ok sure, but when they describe everything while cooking pasta (exaggeration) it just leaves me with the impression that it's gossip for them or it's not something they take seriously, it's too close to indifference that I skip them entirely.

I never liked Mr Beast, there was always something off about his content. Where do you get millions of dollars to burn in incredibly stupid stuff? And recently? it has come to light in a CoffeeZilla video that the kid cannot take criticism for sh¨t even when he's promoting crypto scams and rugpulls. (watch that video, it's hilarious and annoying in equal measures)

While I sort of respected what he tried to do, I do agree - MrBeast was always a bit sketchy. Donating to charity or doing good with money isn't as hard as people think and there are a lot of bad people who do it to try and improve their image. All in all - Jack was right.

I wouldn't be surprised if this ADHD editing style dropped everyone's IQ by 10 and permanently damaged the internet because (at least to me) its on the same level as the fast paced tick tock brainrot that has infected the internet its gotten to the point where if I click on a video and there is more than 5 sound effects within the first 10 seconds of a video I immediately press "don't recommend channel"

I noticed the deception with the ad bar on the Mr. Beast video you showcased. It starts off moving at a quick pace and very subtly slows down halfway through the ad read and slows down near the end of it. It's more noticeable near the end if you look closer, so it wasn't really a quick ad. It was a full-length ad with an ad bar to fool you into thinking the ad was quick.

"Mr Beast made youtube all about business and not about fun" It's why with the videos I've thrown on YT of me and my friends playing games or whatever I decide to throw up, I have no schedule, the videos aren't high quality, fuck my mic sucks ass, and I know my videos will never get anywhere, and the stuff In the videos are not monetizable, but that's not the point, I upload when I feel like it, I make videos for me and my friends to watch whenever we want to remember dumb stuff we have done, you see now new channels with high quality editing, using expensive software, with amazing mic quality, because if you don't have any of that your fucked, YT is all about spending money to make money, just like a business, you can't make videos like you did back in the day and expect people to watch them and enjoy them, it needs to be scripted, look up any successful channel and you will see all these things, you will find it hard to find a successful channel that has no editing or at least really bad editing, awful mic quality and are having fun.

Funny commenting on something that everyones already sort of came and gone with. But I wanted to give my two cents for anyone who may want a bit of help understanding why this feels a certain way. Its a strange dichotomy of two primary emotions, which is anxiety and blissfullness. These are the places that strike a resemblance to everything you know and love whenever you walked through them, when you would simply interact but not drink in because they were simply too inhabited by other people to think so. the feelings you would get in elementary, whenever you were in the halls at times when everything was unfilled with life, so new that you just did nothing but drink the new experience in. As if your mind was connecting the similarities you have seen to the things here on screen that youve never been, though they are very similar. Very related in the core identity from image to memory. But without other people, it feels also similar to as if you discovered something not really meant to be seen, like a hidden asset that went unused in a video game. But not because theres something evil hidden in it. Simply because, these spaces were made to be used by people. Seeing something manmade thats so empty can only breed thoughts of what was, or what could've been of these places. Wonder and a healthy bit of fear, giving amazement and eerie anxiety a perfect place. When things like this just "are". As if you were one of the remaining few after the rapture.
