I found where Arcadia Bay is in real life. After playing the game, I went on a mission and drove to Oregon from the East Coast just to try to find Arcadia Bay. While Arcadia Bay is technically fictitious, I did find its REAL WORLD counterpart: Newport Oregon. If anyone wants to go to go to Arcadia Bay, eat at the Two Whales, etc. then go to Newport Oregon. Yes. There is even the lighthouse on a cliff. Search Agate Beach. (For whale themes and diners, go up the road a bit to Depoe Bay OR.) I’ll tell you all right now, it’s super surreal sitting on that beach listening to this while watching the sun set. 100/100 am recommending.

I think this pause screen is a perfect representation of this song. It's a spring, summer or fall day, the sun is setting but it's still light enough for you not to put any lights on. It's quiet out, relaxing and peaceful. You just sit back and enjoy the nature around you.

This game is the definition of melancholy for me. It makes my heart so heavy, but yet, it's so beautiful. It reminds me of young love that I never experienced myself, and how I'm sometimes sad that I never did, yet, happy.

This game was odd man.. the setting, music, atmosphere, and art style were all phenomenal. The characters, plot, gameplay, and dialogue were pretty average (trying to be objective). But this game affected me in a way that makes no sense, it's nostalgic even tho I only played around half of it at first. I just have fond memories of this game as if it's some childhood I'm reminiscing on..

when i was younger i found this game to be unsettling, i can’t exactly pinpoint why though. if i had to guess myself i’d say the calming yet somber atmosphere tied in with the deep and traumatic topics in the game, the music too. arcadia bay just feels so sad and yet nostalgic at the same time.
I enjoyed the game but you definitely nailed it. This was head and shoulders above the second one though. That was an absolute clusterfuck of a game. Terrible acting. Terrible characters and a plug that made no fucking sense. The last one was good though.

It's fitting that this song is pause screen music but seriously... pause for a bit, take some time out of the day for yourself. Wherever you are in this moment make sure you ground yourself in the present, and take care of yourself, if your doing something fun with friends soon stay present and soak in everything. Cause life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
They captured lightning in a bottle with this game, Double Exposure while a good game just couldnt capture those heart renching moments and as a result fell down a bit

LiS 1 has a calm and beautiful theme. BtS had a sad theme. LiS 2 had a depressing theme. God, the LiS themes are perfect. My favorite is probably LiS 2 or BtS

1. Denial - Max saving chloe from being shot 2. Anger - Max feeling the burden of her powers not being able to save Kate Marsh 3. Barganing - Rewinding time to save Chloe's Dad for the situation to end up worse anyways 4. Depression - The entire nightmare seqeunce being a metahpor for guilt, regret, fear, and other depressive themes. 5. Acceptance - Accepting the reality of chloe's inevertible fate by allowing Nathen to kill her

I feel very sad because this track makes me remind about the old days with my deceased mom, somehow I was able to make this sadness more stronger by only mixing this soundtrack with Rainy night in a bedroom...
I couldn't leave Chloe. :c I knew it wasn't quite right, but she suffered too much and she should have had a chance at redemption, while knowing full well that choosing in her direction would bring sacrifices and what led to it. The question of this choice is still twofold, which is still being discussed in the community of LiS. There is also a comic strip that tells how the outcome of this choice would develop further.
It took me like 5-6 minutes thinking which I should choose in the end. It was nerve wrecking but I did the most popular one. Wbu? How long did it take for you to decide the ending?

Devs poured all the love in LiS1 and didn't spare anything for the rest
However, that love was left far behind, in the very year 2018, when LiS 2 came out.
What I mean is that this is not a bad game, not at all, this is just the latest good thing that has been happening with Life is Strange
