I love traveling along with Derrick! Living vicariously thru his wanderings, narrations, and singing is a highlight I didn’t know I needed. The goat births are my favorite, but the goat deliveries are the best byproduct you could hope for. Please keep the content coming! Can’t wait til the next set of goats when Emily gets to join you in creating unbeatable Father/Daughter memories. You’re a good guy, Derrick. God bless everyone at BCDG!

Derek, Thank you for taking us on this virtual drive through Utah while you deliver the livestock.
I haven't been to Utah since 1990 when my kids and I drove mom to a meet-up family reunion at Payette Lake.
Every person we encountered in Utah was very kind, personable, and when we shopped for groceries or dinner, they were very engaging and polite.

I think the best view we've seen was at Harper's Ferry, WV. On the Maryland border there. Beautiful county, big rocks and an old timey town with lots of history. When you hit the end of town, you're on a mountaintop where two rivers meet. You can see them running into each other in the huge valley, and across the river is an old timey railroad bridge and a third mountain that looks like the Titanic heading towards you. Birds and hawks everywhere.

I love these video's of your travels. Im from Australia so its really interesting seeing the American landscape. I watched a video on another channel of a doe delivering her babies. I was horrified from the get go....the woman in the video didn't give the doe a chance to birth on her own....she immediately intervened and physically pulled the babies out. I couldn't believe it. Krystal is so professional with the way she does it and all I can say is that woman needs to take lessons from Krystal.

Good evening from South Cackalackee (South Carolina)!!! Yes the one just immediately south of North Carolina 😉😁! I’m loving this journey journaling!! Thanks for sharing your travels!! Just a little suggestion for the stalls, I have 6 Cheweenie dogs and I actually worked as a. Travel nurse for several years. I used to line the pet taxis with newspapers on top of cardboard and then place pp pads on the top of the newspaper. And as we traveled, if there was between potty break accidents, I would just take the pp pads out and replace them. It helped keep them clean, the smell down (because we were traveling in a SUV and they was in the passenger compartment). I understand and appreciate the pride and care you guys provide your herd, so just wanted to share my experience with you as well. Thank you again for your shared travels!!! God speed and safe travels! 😉👌🏻🐐♥️🐕‍🦺♥️

    Hello from Utah!
That was Parley's canyon you were going through! People FLY down that canyon (can't lie, I might be guilty of that one haha). But yeah, it is a 6% grade until you flatten out towards the bottom
I live close to salt lake and have hiked almost every trail in the Wasatch mountains.
    LOVES these mountains of ours!
Also, you would have felt at home if you had come around this time. It is currently 101° here in the valley!

Hi Derrick! I used to drive a semi. That drive on I80 into Salt Lake City is one of my most favorite rides ❤! My other favorite is I84 going north toward Oregon out of the canyon in echo Utah is amazing! Not far up I84 is the devil’s slide and to see that is mind blowing! Oh and stay safe on the steep grades try not to get in front of semi, the “good” drivers burn the brakes up! The runaway ramps are there for that reason. I spent many nights at those truck stops ❤!! Awe, you didn’t show the Morton salt place out there by the flats 😊 thank you for the memories. Sometimes I miss driving a truck because of all the places and things to see ❤❤😊😊

I love your story but... I am a Rhode Islander..lol. my dad was a truck driver he would go to California and back he has seen every state in the US and could never get sick of driving he loved it seeing new things and even if he just drove threw he still got to see things. When ever he be out on the road for over 2 weeks he always came home with little gifts for us. My mom was stuck home with us kids and I know it wasn't always easy. But I got to go on the road a few times with my dad he had bunk beds in the truck and one of the trucks he drove back in the day was huge with a small shower and microwave and it was like a mini apartment. As I got older and when my parents could trust us I think I was 17 I am the oldest but he would take my mom with him but only short trips 3 days or less. I had my grandmother who lived 5 mins away if I needed her and my boyfriend was 18 and he stay with me so I wouldn't be afraid at night. My mom passed away when I was 32 and my dad passed away only 3 years ago and I am greatful for the great memories and I bet your teenagers who came out on the road with you and got sick of the long drive I bet you ask her today what was the best part of the drive she would say it was spending the time with you ❤

Looks like you pulled over across from Saltair at the Great Salt Lake. That building with the gold onion domes is the most recent and less than impressive version of what was once a massive amusement center back in the day. You can see what the old park looked like after it was closed down and before it burned to the ground, in the cult classic horror film Carnival Of Souls. Creepy doesn't begin to describe it at that point and a perfect setting for the movie.

You should Bring some goatie soap with you on the Goat Migration and sell it to the folks without shipping costs! That might be a good idea, just ask them if they’d be interested, then you’ll know if you should or not next year……love seeing every video!!!

Oh what a beautiful country we live in, right? I’ve been lucky enough to be able to drive through a lot of states too. The mountains are amazing! One summer I drove with my mom to out to Copper Mountain in Colorado. We stayed too long and got altitude sickness. WHO would have thought! Being from Michigan, I have to say I’d much rather be near the lakes. Thanks for sharing the ride, it made for a nice afternoon.
