I was 8 when my parents let me stay up late to watch man land on the moon. I was so inspired. Being a tech person even then I wanted to be an astronaut...but had no idea how to go about it. I have a fear of heights so space travel would not be so fun for me lol. You have to give these guys and gals credit for having the mind set to do this kind of dangerous work. Standing close to cliffs... dining in glass bottomed restaurants in skyscrapers, et cetera are things that gives him the willies! But viewing Earth from orbit while spacewalking?
