Thanks this is very nice and informative video. You really know a lot about the windows and their licensing system. I have a question - What exactly is difference between Win 11 Enterprise LTSC vs Win 11 Enteprise IoT Enterprise LTSC? Is the price or licensing fees same for both of them or different? I elieve Win 11 Enteprise LTSC is still not out to general public or businesses.
IoT Ent LTSC is only for special kind of device not for general device. And IoT Ent LTSC microsoft will provide 10 years of support from the release date

@@Corteum if you want use OS for specific purpose . windows IoT LTSC is the best OS as compare to other Windows OS.
@@VashuRPG I just want a faster, more reliable, smoother ux, withotu all the bloatation and crustations that come with the regular Win11 Pro.
@@Corteum FYI: Windows IoT LTSC doesn’t comes with preinstall UWP apps such as Microsoft store, wether, cortana, Photos etc, so because of that it makes this OS very fast..but if you want use this OS for your regular use than its not for you, as per Microsoft compliance you can’t use this for general use

Why doesn't sandbox work in ltsc versions? No matter what I did I couldn't get it to work.
First I've heard of any issues with Sandbox on LTSC editions. I fired up my Win 10 IoT Ent LTSC 2021 edition and sandbox works great. I need to test it with the 11 LTSC. What sort of issue did you have?
@@WindowsChampIt asks me to restart the computer by going into control panel, selecting sandbox and enabling it. During the restart, it gives the error "There was a problem while updating and the old settings were reverted".
@@blackmirror2992 Gotcha, yes I just had the same problem on the 11 IoT Ent LTSC. Are you having this issue on the 11 LTSC? I'll run this by the Microsoft IoT Engineering team.

Hey Jason, technically the IoT versions are not for home users. The IoT licenses are strictly for OEMs that build fixed purpose appliances. Of course like all Microsoft products there are pirated websites that will sell keys which are not licenses but will any many cases activate. Lots of end user home users out there that aren't concerned about being legal and will buy keys to activate the O/S but to be legal, you need a physical COA sticker license which is only available from an authorized distributor such as Arrow electronics and you must be an OEM that has signed the legal agreement with Microsoft.

The existence of a stable bloatware free IoT edition shows that it is feasible to have such an edition. Remember when Microsoft claimed it cannot remove Internet Explorer without compromising the stability of Windows? Well, some enterprising hacker was able to do just that. That experience showed that, like Linux, Windows is more modularized than Microsoft tells us, making it possible and easy to debloat it. I suspect the Windows that runs in Azure or Windows 365 is the equivalent of this on-prem IoT edition so it does not unnecessarily consume computing resources on Microsoft-owned servers. It’s even possible that Microsoft intentionally makes the non-virtualized version bloated so to make its Azure version attractive to increase sales of Azure. It’s all about money. It’s all about swaying public sentiment to increase the sale even it means being a tad shady.

it's really stupid that it can't be legally taken for a single machine or computer for normal users.
There is already an illegal version on the Internet and you can easily find a licensed key for free.
For those of us who are willing to pay for the original, there is no option.

@@kele92 Hey I don't disagree with anything you just said. There actually is a Volume Win 11 LTSC upgrade for end-user customers however it is very expensive. But if you have a system that has say 10 Pro or 11 Pro license on it, you can purchase the Volume CSP version of 11 LTSC for your own home use. The downside is that it is an upgrade to Pro and it is expensive. But for the Home user, Microsoft's focus is Home and Pro edition. I agree with you in that they should have an LTSC for Home users that is affordable, but they don't.
Instead of clickbait, why didn't you begin your video with a caveat that we (meaning 99% of RUclips viewers) can't use this wonderful OS for our home systems?
