Lane change indication during the first wheelie....... now that's so f@@kin' funny 😂 never saw anyone being so considerate in a wheelie. What gearing are you running ? comes up lovely in 4th gear.
Of course you have to always indicate :p The gearing's -1 in the front, haven't tried stock gearing since I bought the bike geared like it is now. And yeah I'm finnish, good day to you in Ireland :)
Nice man! I also started on a 690 and own a 1290 Superduke gen2 right now 😎👍, seems to be the right choice lol 🤣. Also with the full software package. Ultimate wheelie machine!
Yeah the torque is awesome, not never-ending tho :p windblast is definitely better than supermoto, since the seating position is alot sturdier. It gets quite bad at fast speeds tho, doing 260 kph is on the edge of blacking out since your helmet pushes back so much you can't breathe and lose oxygen to your brain :D but up to 200 kph it's quite good
Haven't tried either one. I'd guess gen 1 since the geometry's more wheelie happy apparently, but to be honest these are all pretty fucking aggressive and fun :D I'd go with gen 3 because the electronics, dash etc are far superior, gen1's kinda sad
@@juicer404 Yeah it takes certain finesse to drive the V2, I learned on the 690 which was just as choppy so it's no problem now. Just super smooth on the throttle at low speeds, and when stuck in traffic just slip the clutch alot and it goes really smoothly. And yeah a Gsxr might need a bit of clutch, but honestly any gear from 1-4 just twist the throttle and it comes up instantly, I've never used the clutch to wheelie and I've managed to wheelie at 220 kph at best I think. Enjoy and get used to it, it's a choppy beast that takes a bit of taming to master :D
@@Blacklake69 mine is 2022 model but its stock exhaust at the minute, need to get full akrapovic, just trying to figure out the modes, i leave it in performance mode with wheelie control off..i went out earlier but started to rain, looking clear again now might got back out soon and try dial these wheelies in...
@@juicer404 Definitely the easiest thing you've ever wheelied :p With the quickshifter just leave the gas in any position while the wheel is up in the air and kick the next gear in, it doesn't even budge and you can continue gaining speed until inevitably putting the wheel down, overwhelming the steering dampener and going for a nice wobble for a while :p

@@Blacklake69 Cheers, thanks for the info and the smiles. Stay safe and have fun.
I was wondering how you got it up in 4th

Looks and sounds like bonkers torque! How's the wind blast? Supermoto-esque?

Which is more aggressive and brutal between gen 1 and gen 3 Super Duke R?

0 km/h wheelie is insane.
Does the quickshifter work better with full throttle in track mode or has it nothing to do with it?
It works quite well in any situation
Lol :D I have tech pack but honestly Im afraid to try track mode :D
Same, start with SPORT, get used to it, it's already a ton of fun!
Hello from Ireland btw, I take it you're in Finland.
Does your country have any corners? 😂
lmao I wish.
Mukava laite t: superduke 1290 r omistaja✌🏻
what gear u use? do u use clutch?
Any gear, no clutch lol
@@Blacklake69 😂 I only got mine yesterday , very choppy and aggressive compared to my gsxr 1000, takes a bit to get use to and find balance point

Why does mine not just lift like that lol
I'm on track mode with mimimal traction control and anti-wheelie off. Sport mode with the smoother throttle and more conservative tc might be a factor
