Cold steel KOBUN

after 3 weeks of basic use like food prep, edc carry, mail opening ect, i can pleasantly say this light weight fixed blade is a great companion! idelly used as a boot knife, it can also be used as a belt, iwb or neck knife too, with a 5 inch blade at ony 4.5 ounces its an easy addition to anyones kit!!! , aus 8 steel hat treat by cold steel is a good mid range option especially for the price,
tha blade also did well btoning kindling and carving feather sticks!!!
id say abelt mount witha tek lok or uticlip wold be a bit better suite ad the metal slip system it comes with works well for mounting anyhere, does come off a bit easilly
overall its a great package for the price, obvioiusly it has more :tactical: applications in mind, can be used as a decnt camp knife, but for all intents and puroposes of MY hobbies and systems ect id carrya mora companion.
