Chajul is one of the three main towns in the Ixil region of Guatemala's Northwest. Known to be one of the most untouched part of the Ixil Triangle, many of the indigenous traditions are still kept alive here. I ventured to this area solo only to make many friends, attend a graduation party, and even drank a few cold beers...

The vestment of that region is very pretty…!! Because it’s, elegant, plain, and colorful…! The women are also well poised and proud…! Very unusual community…! Poor but proud…!!!
