Kevin's physical ability to keep his crankbait wet in this situation is unbelievable. What a textbook example of perfect performance. Thank you for givjng us these moments in fishing history, Sir.
These kinds of videos are so informative. I hope you can keep posting more like this. To see it all unfold in sorta real time is so entertaining and teaches so much.
Great video man!! Love it!! Makes me excited for spring and summer fishing! I make fishing videos too and I love watching yours!! Great work and keep these videos coming! 💪🔥🤝
The best power fisherman ever! Now a days you don’t have to work like the GOAT to get bites. Just noodle D#CK around with “Spotlighting” baits/techniques and harass a bass to bite!
How you think Kevin found these places to fish?? with mapping and electronics he can't see under water!! so the guys now are just using it to there advantage like KVD did
@@holdenwilky4922 where I live he’s casting way off the bank , not a tree , cat tails , a log , no where close to the bank is what I mean , I know he’s looking on his fish finder and map , from where I live he’s casting at nothing
I could (and have) throw a crankbait all day and catch 0 and come home happy. Love cranking. Side note. Those olu kai flip flops are the best flip flop I’ve ever owned. I’ve had a pair for 8 years Wear them all summer on and off boat. They hold up like a champ.
I'm in exceptional shape for my age, but couldn't throw a medium diver for 15 minutes. KVD and those power anglers are out of my league. How did Iaconelli do it? Well, he was 25-35 years younger than I.
I’m 60 and felt the same as you until I bought the right equipment and it was a game changer. I fished a tournament a few months ago and cranked ALL day, be aware I was amazed myself couldn’t believe I could do it
@@leeclack4121 Congrats on your tourney fishing, Lee. I put enough pressure on myself to catch bass without the added stress of tourneys. I'll be 75 this year but I can do 16-18 chinups and about 12 pull ups, so for short periods, I'm above average, but cranking with spinning gear is a killer. I don't like baitcasting reels. Tight lines!
From watching him, he mostly cranks with a low 5.1 gear ratio, Sometimes he goes to a 6.1, but I think he main reel he uses is his signature and that's a 5.3.1 I think, But he cranks everything fast , but he believes that, that's the perfect ratio for the 6xd, 10 xd, So he reels so fast that's why he uses less gear ratio
That is why he is the GOAT, and to the comment if catching fish blind throwing, NOT, KVD is master at mapping, he knew what he was throwing at.
It never gets old watching you cranking offshore
Your efficiency is amazing, sir. We’re going to miss you on the water hope to continue to learn from you

Wow, what a effort and lesson to us all. Thank you.
5:40 Kevin's firing out his next cast before the weigh-in guy even sits down......hilarious.

Half frozen half open water here tough to get out. So I'll take the 18 min cranking video
That's some of the best fishing for me in SE Michigan, all of em are hogs.
Legend says one day a goat will crank ,...

What’s amazing is how he can get that many bites casting at nothing , he is The Man Van Dam ! Toad after Toad Kevin is on fireeee
He’s not casting at nothing

The only est thing me and KV has in common when he hooked his vest for a second.
Love this
My favorite lure is a spinnerbait... but I love using cranks even if I do get hung up... It's a different bite for sure lol
Ouuuuu yeaaah!
I wonder how much of Strike King and Lews KVD owns.?

I’d like to know the gear ratio of that reel. Seems he’s cranking that thing pretty fast.
From watching him, he mostly cranks with a low 5.1 gear ratio,

His signature reel that he showed there was a 5.6 and the BB1's are 6.2
You need to make a few surprise appearances and up the odds.......
If you compare him to others, he literally runs like a madman
When was this filmed?
I’m thinking when he won Chic 3 years ago
The description says Cayuga Lake '22. I thought it was the "Chick" at first also.

I wish I can see what he’s throwing. 🤔🤔🤔.
Always gives me anxiety watching you unhook a crankbait fish.
kevin?? really? you’re looking down too?
He's looking at his map and way points not FFS
