Kevin, I couldn't stop watching your video from the moment It started until the end and I wanted more. So much information about jerk baits in just a few minutes. Going to meet you at Redcrest in March at Grand lake. 🎣🐟
I always worry about getting bit off by Pike in the Northern Michigan and Canadian waters. Any way to run a leader when fishing for smallmouth with jerk baits like that?
The title is how to fish a finesse jerkbait/Fall Nov 2021. But you said smallmouth spawned 3 weeks ago,and the may flies are hatching. It’s December in Tennessee, the 1st. I think you got you video mixed up! I wish it was May! But trying to catch them in December! I guess I could catch them the same way! Da Hah! LOL! 👍🥸🙏
I can't believe there's not more subscribers to this channel
I have always liked how kvd speaks and explains things
I just started really utilizing jerkbaits a few years ago, and man, what a game changer!

That looks like so much fun! I don’t have that much experience with smallmouth or clear lakes like that; would love to take a trip up there!
My favorite way to catch em, thanks foe the video Kevin. I learned a couple of things that I will try to perfect this craft.
I lived in GR for about 7 years. Michigan is a beautiful state.

Wow amazing
I don't know what's more impressive, the fish-catching or not getting a treble in his finger with landing and unhooking all those fish with his hands.
Hay Kevin do you know how people from Ramona Park Portage on Long Lake come to your house for a fishing camp. well I was at that camp last year

Can you tell me your rod and reel description for this application?
What set up? Thanks
What gear ratio would you recommend?
Lampreys are fun to catch by hand I wouldn't recommend it but it helps your foot work on the river 😉 😜
What's your thoughts on loop nots for a jerkbait
Kevin, what lake(s) are you on in this video?
Probably Burt or mullet lake Traverse city has many lakes with smallmouth like that Traverse bay is great too.

You are brave to remove those hooks with bare hands when they are that sticky sharp...one flip by that fish and those hooks are deep in your fingers
