I am on Windows because everything is just works as it should like overall windows os is the best for creators and productivity like the best for music production, video editing is the best on the planet thanks to Intel and Nvidia, best for 3d artists, vfx cgi and animation and gaming is like bonus/cherry on top, best for coding as well, etc etc.
Best displays, best connectivity, best user experience.
I cannot believe how fast windows systems are evolving.
Later this year meteorlake laptops on Intel 4 node with L4 cache "Adamantine" with better battery than m2 pro(leaked by trusted leakers), new media engines like and 2 times faster igpu.
13 gen is already faster even running on battery power than m2 pro and max for creative work.
Then in 2024, we will enter in angstrom era like Intel 20A node with RibbonFET transistors(GAA) and "power via" backside power delivery, all these tech in arrow and lunar lake laptops.
      Exciting times a head.

But then again, they stuck a 4090 in a 14 inch laptop even though its gimped. Same with the new Dell XPS 15 4070. Way too much for the thin chassis. Just Josh did a review on it and said that i7 isn't a good fit for the chassis. The older model was outperforming the new one.

Wow, this thing looks amazing! It really checks all the boxes, and it even doesn't have the ugly plastic, protruding bezel that many other Windows machines have. And this video was so helpful, including your providing the speed of the sd card reader. I'm hard pressed to find flaws in the machine; maybe it'd be nice of one of the TB ports was on the other side, but that's really nitpicking. Speaking of nitpicking, perhaps giving a mention of performance while on battery would be helpful. A ton of Windows laptops perform so poorly on battery, but it varies from OEM to OEM exactly how much power is allowed to be used while on battery. It would be nice to know how this one does in that area. Otherwise, this was an excellent video IMO.

Asus makes machines that are wonderful - until they‘re not. Then you enter Asus support Hell. I am now entering the sixth (6th) month without my Asus G14 because it was freezing every few minutes, and although Asus has confirmed the error they can‘t or won‘t fix it. It has now been back and forth four times. They also won‘t replace it, even though I offered to pay the difference for a new model. They are currently “deciding” what to do next, and have been for the last three weeks. So yes, Asus machines are great - until they’re not.

Don't mind me asking but is this either a completely different computer with faked specs or is Asus just deciding not sue you for whatever reason? Literally nobody else on the planet has a video on this device. To me it looks like most of the gaming you did with the device was you putting your hand in the wrong place and leaving it stationary or having it press the wrong keys at the wrong time. Both ways you the mouse clicks you used either looked fake and unnecessary. I really feel like you used a previous generation of laptop or a lower model such as the regular ZenBook and then just photoshopped some gaming footage onto the screen / played a video of it.
If not then seriously why is nobody else making a video on this laptop? It is literally the one I'm planning on buying when it releases because it looks so good. It should be everywhere if Asus let reviewers showcase the laptops this early.

My cousin's Galaxy Buds didn't properly connect with his brand new Lenovo and he had to return it after wasting hours with Lenovo technicians, but his Asus had no such issue (both Windows 11 machines). What I love about my MB Pro 14 is that I can rest it on my lap or a cushion with a case on and do office work, and it stays cold and silent. Every Windows prosumer's "thin and light" laptop warms up just surfing on Chrome, and that is without a case. If a computer cannot do the basics like running comfortably on your lap, it is undoubtedly no Macbook killer. As for battery life, over the weekend, I used >3 hours SOT and >48 hours standby on my MB Pro 14 and used 25% battery! I am currently testing the Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 i5 (16-inch), and 7.5 hours is my best, running continuously! As you are aware, the 16-inch MB Pro has even better battery life than my 14-inch!
These two advantages make the MB Pro an easy choice for me. I do not play games, nor am I a prosumer; I buy the higher model for the better specs.

you gloss over a lot of things that aren't that good about the laptop. Again picking and choosing. Yeah the power and refersh rate s are important, but for most of us who are casual gamers and even creators ,it is not a deal breaker. Oled sceen is another unnecessary component if you have beautifu 4k like on the Dell xps 17 or even the screen on the M1 macs. And who wants to tolerate a lot of fan noise to get the power and cooling you want? oh well, "you can just use your headphones". LOL. You did not have much to say about the speaker, sexcept "pretty good: Pretty good like on the Dell xps 17. which has the top firing speaker that sound great by the way, not present on this model, I would take a guess they are not nearly as good as the XPS 17 and then the internals which you gloss over pretty much. I only saw one ram slot, I assume the other is sodlered on, like on a lot of Asus 's laptops, which makes upgrading in dual channel a problem and we all know dual channel gives you much better framerates in games. More than most reviewrs you seem to have a penchant for picking and choosing the features and functions on laptops you favor to make them seem more attractive than they really are. Why? For instance you dkd not mention the keybord at all which a lot us who type a lot are concerned with. Like I said before your presentation is very good, and your ability to articulate and give the appearance of a very knowledgeable reviewer, but I will take substance over apperance any day,. I will give you a thumbs up though becaue I think eveyone deserves support for their efforts, and you do make some good points and some worthwhile observations, and I like to check out a broad perpective of opinions and styles.
