I love how this show can make full episodes on the smallest characters while also making it useful to the plot or setting up something. Not something many shows can do.
Considering that both Marcy and Sasha are likely to betray Anne in True Colors, whether it’s intentional or not, I can see the girls being separated again for the first few episodes of season 3. It really depends on the pacing of the next few episodes to know for sure.
I feel like Polly's legs are going to play a part in the finale. Like Polly can't move due to some reason, and Anne, Sprig, and Hop Pop are in trouble, when Polly's legs grow in and she saves them from whatever was causing the trouble.
I think Anne only drained halfway because her temple's method took a long time to charge, and Anne was in a hurry to get back to her friends as she thought they were in trouble. Hence why she didn't charge the blue gem all the way, and her eyes drained halfway.

Yeah, it's obvious Sasha was serious about her apology. Otherwise she never would've gotten so increasingly offended that Anne still didn't trust her. And frankly, she was right to be mad at her, since not only did she apologize and back off on giving orders, but she also saved their lives twice. Regardless of Anne's personal hang ups, she at least should've made an honest effort to trust Sasha instead of dismissing her attempts to smooth things over so quickly.

After all, both Marcy and Sasha’s gems got charged fairly quickly. Presumably if Anne’s gem had been given the time to charge fully, she would have also lost the rest of her eye glow.
With Hop Pop’s hiding the box at the beginning of their series, and then both Marcy and Sasha potentially betraying her, I wonder if Anne’s gonna go off on her own, and everyone doesn’t find out the box isn’t complete until she’s gone.

Sasha looked to have second thoughts regarding the Newtopia invasion. She really misses her friends and doesn't want to lose them. Things are going to get nasty when True Colors comes around.
Well, considering how offended she got when Anne refused to trust her, it's obvious she was being genuine about her apology (otherwise she would've just shrugged it off), or at the very least it proves that she does want to do right by them in the end. And now that sh not only has her friends back, but also has the charged music box, she has no reason to care about the rebellion anymore. The only reason she still hasn't told them yet is because A) it can't be stopped at this point, and B) she wants to maintain her friendship with Grime.
You know, at first watch, I didn't give much thought into Marcy's quick intervention in the end, even though I AM worried specifically about her regarding True colours. The synopsis says "someone" has other plans. I think if it was Sasha alone, it wouldn't be much of a spoiler to state it, because at this point we already know what she's up to. As for Marcy, between her wacky Wartwood adventures, it's easy to forget that she's doing something to Andrias, and even though we have yet to learn the specifics, it can't be any good. And also, remember what Matt said about her in your interview. If people don't like her, the show won't work. They're clearly setting us up for a shock.

Ok I'm going to throw my predictions of the dinner and battle of the bands 1 sasha's going to officially meet the family during the dinner it's going to be awkward at first but then they'll settle into a rhythm then we get the thing I've coveted for ages the whole Sashannarcy fluff except each of the girls want to keep their real motivation hidden 2 it's in newtopia battle of the bands and it'll get sasha's army in there for marcy it'll get holders to andrias they perform they play their part and they have the time of their lives But how it ends sasha's army ready for battle As for marcy taking the box to andris and he betrayed marcy Anne left confused and betrayed
I feel like, the way Amphibia is setting up, it'd be perfect for a five-season structure, going _well_ out if it's way to worldbuild each of the locales the girls got sent to. Seriously, even an episode of percy and braddock going out for supplies, with a literal grocery list, would've been excellent for Sasha, Grime and the toads. I mean, it's either that, or a Kai style summary feature. You could probably cover all this stuff, in a series of 3 TV special length sections, and the big finale in the fourth quarter. It's a shame they aren't expanding on it more than they've set out to. Amphibia is a wonderful setting.
Matt Braly has said he only saw it as a 3 season arc. 3 girls. 3 races. 3 gems. Five seasons and beyond usually end up with way too much filler imo. I hate filler, save for how Amphibia has been handling it because filler in this expands upon what's there and actually leads into other plot threads. I just like the aesthetic of three, too. It fits.

But I think, if they gave more time to the world, and how each of the three fit into their place in it, the way they did with anne, and _also_ put a few _extra_ episodes into the conclusion to come, it'd only help the story. I just think it would serve the story better. Rather than dedicating an entire season to each of the girls, attribute the three _peaks_ through the extended series to them.

Don't really get the "two eye glows" theory. Its pretty clearly shown that Anne's gemstone wasn't all the way charged, so the power wasn't fully drained.
This is just my opinion , but I do think that marcy knew that the calamity box would lead them to amphibia, she just acted like she didn't. Because one amphibia is a place where marcy would love to live in as she loves fantasy and mystery and adventure. And she was the one who planted the thought in Sasha of stealing the calamity box. because maybe it was not for sale and she knew that Sasha would like the idea of stealing something. I also think (and yes what I'm going to say is far fetched but bear with me) that Sasha wasn't meant to be there, marcy and anne were only meant to go to amphibia because a part of me thinks that marcy doesn't really like Sasha being best friend's with anne, because she wants to be like how it was before Sasha came, but instead that didn't happen because Sasha came, they got separated, anne befriended the planters and anne chose them over marcy in newtopia which may have broke marcy heart, because she may have thought that anne would always be by her side. King andrias knew what marcy plan was and said that he could help her, and they teamed up
I get that Anne wants to stay herself, but come on they even pointed out the shoeless foot, could Anne not have had at least got a odd shoe so she wasn’t walking though a volcano in just a sock. People keep talking how polly getting legs will be a big plot point, I’m of the belief that Anne final having two shoes and no leaves will be a important turning point.

How I think that Amphibia Season 2 will end is in True Colors Anne and the Planters and Marcy and Sasha will find out about King Andrias intentions and find out about that frog monster and something might happen to the Calamity Box but I doubt that in True Colors they will have the episode based on the attack in Newtopia led by Sasha and Grime might be for part of the episode but for the most part they will find out about King Andrias intentions
Hopefully, Sasha and Marcy will have seen the light by the end of the season, and side with Anne and the Plantars against King Andrias and his master, and fulfill the prophecy and save all of Amphibia 😣😔🤞🙏.

Ey, I know we're all sad because Sasha is going forth with her betrayal after this weekend's episodes, but don't forget that her and Grime's plot, even if done for the wrong reasons, it's a good thing. If this betrayal is the price to pay to take down Andrias and remove his piece from the chessboard before the confrontation with his master, then so be it. This is necessary evil. So despite what you may think, the right choice for her to make here isn't stop being toxic, at least not until Andrias is removed from this game of Flipwart. It's to go throught with her and Grime's plans.

You know, at first watch, I didn't give much thought into Marcy's quick intervention in the end, even though I AM worried specifically about her regarding True colours. The synopsis says "someone" has other plans. I think if it was Sasha alone, it wouldn't be much of a spoiler to state it, because at this point we already know what she's up to.
As for Marcy, between her wacky Wartwood adventures, it's easy to forget that she's doing something to Andrias, and even though we have yet to learn the specifics, it can't be any good. And also, remember what Matt said about her in your interview. If people don't like her, the show won't work. They're clearly setting us up for a shock.
Time to rewatch amphibia!

I always got the impression that Andrias studied the people around him. He's an open book, but we can't seem to read it.
I still say that since Anne had one of her eyes shut that prevented all her blue energy being transferred to the heart gemstone.
It's obvious by now that Sasha has quite the "savior complex", the flashback just cements it. Read about it, it sure lines up with her character and relationship with Anne and Marcy.

Ok I'm going to throw my predictions of the dinner and battle of the bands
1 sasha's going to officially meet the family during the dinner it's going to be awkward at first but then they'll settle into a rhythm then we get the thing I've coveted for ages the whole Sashannarcy fluff except each of the girls want to keep their real motivation hidden
2 it's in newtopia battle of the bands and it'll get sasha's army in there for marcy it'll get holders to andrias they perform they play their part and they have the time of their lives
But how it ends sasha's army ready for battle

I feel like, the way Amphibia is setting up, it'd be perfect for a five-season structure, going _well_ out if it's way to worldbuild each of the locales the girls got sent to. Seriously, even an episode of percy and braddock going out for supplies, with a literal grocery list, would've been excellent for Sasha, Grime and the toads.
I mean, it's either that, or a Kai style summary feature. You could probably cover all this stuff, in a series of 3 TV special length sections, and the big finale in the fourth quarter.
It's a shame they aren't expanding on it more than they've set out to. Amphibia is a wonderful setting.
Matt Braly has said he only saw it as a 3 season arc.

Five seasons and beyond usually end up with way too much filler imo. I hate filler, save for how Amphibia has been handling it because filler in this expands upon what's there and actually leads into other plot threads.
I just like the aesthetic of three, too. It fits.
@@watertommyz You're right, and I do see the appeal. But I think, if they gave more time to the world, and how each of the three fit into their place in it, the way they did with anne, and _also_ put a few _extra_ episodes into the conclusion to come, it'd only help the story.
I just think it would serve the story better. Rather than dedicating an entire season to each of the girls, attribute the three _peaks_ through the extended series to them.

Don't really get the "two eye glows" theory. Its pretty clearly shown that Anne's gemstone wasn't all the way charged, so the power wasn't fully drained.

This is just my opinion , but I do think that marcy knew that the calamity box would lead them to amphibia, she just acted like she didn't. Because one amphibia is a place where marcy would love to live in as she loves fantasy and mystery and adventure. And she was the one who planted the thought in Sasha of stealing the calamity box. because maybe it was not for sale and she knew that Sasha would like the idea of stealing something. I also think (and yes what I'm going to say is far fetched but bear with me) that Sasha wasn't meant to be there, marcy and anne were only meant to go to amphibia because a part of me thinks that marcy doesn't really like Sasha being best friend's with anne, because she wants to be like how it was before Sasha came, but instead that didn't happen because Sasha came, they got separated, anne befriended the planters and anne chose them over marcy in newtopia which may have broke marcy heart, because she may have thought that anne would always be by her side. King andrias knew what marcy plan was and said that he could help her, and they teamed up

I get that Anne wants to stay herself, but come on they even pointed out the shoeless foot, could Anne not have had at least got a odd shoe so she wasn’t walking though a volcano in just a sock. People keep talking how polly getting legs will be a big plot point, I’m of the belief that Anne final having two shoes and no leaves will be a important turning point.

How I think that Amphibia Season 2 will end is in True Colors Anne and the Planters and Marcy and Sasha will find out about King Andrias intentions and find out about that frog monster and something might happen to the Calamity Box but I doubt that in True Colors they will have the episode based on the attack in Newtopia led by Sasha and Grime might be for part of the episode but for the most part they will find out about King Andrias intentions
Hopefully, Sasha and Marcy will have seen the light by the end of the season, and side with Anne and the Plantars against King Andrias and his master, and fulfill the prophecy and save all of Amphibia 😣😔🤞🙏.
Though I don't mean fulfill the prophecy _this_ season 😕.

Ey, I know we're all sad because Sasha is going forth with her betrayal after this weekend's episodes, but don't forget that her and Grime's plot, even if done for the wrong reasons, it's a good thing. If this betrayal is the price to pay to take down Andrias and remove his piece from the chessboard before the confrontation with his master, then so be it. This is necessary evil. So despite what you may think, the right choice for her to make here isn't stop being toxic, at least not until Andrias is removed from this game of Flipwart. It's to go throught with her and Grime's plans.

I honestly was skeptical when watching the third temple when Sasha was acting all nice and crap (cause she’s been seen pushing people around for her own gain.) I also think that the creature that King Andrias rules under might use the music box for a certain purpose? Maybe to regain strength of to use it to teleport to the human world.
