Wonderful stuff - thanks Ged and absolute thanks to the producer of this video👋👋 It’d be great if you could do a video of the next film collectors that Talking Pictures will be part of. Mark Silvester( Silvo)🎉📽️👍

Is there any chance you could make an edition where all the interviews are joined as one making one ling nice view? It’d be nice if we could have one long view of the CHC interview with Phil as well. 📽️👍

Dear Mark, I am sorry to tell you that that is not possible. You can make yourself a playlist in RUclips and add the three videos - so they will play automatically in a line.

Thank you very much for this fascinating look into the Derann world. Such a shame it all ended just 12 months before Geds retirement but what a massive player in our world of film collecting. Great work.

Excellent video. I also had a GS1200 and loved my hobby. But once laser disc and then DVD came along it was inevitable that Super 8 would go. Just the price of the raw stock was really costly and for a 120m film Super 8 was priced out of the market. Sad, but that’s progress.

You are right, nowadays Super 8 is a lovely contrast to the digital movie look.

Das hat mich sehr beeindruckt. Man merkt wirklich, wieviel "Herzblut" da immer noch drinsteckt! Schade, dass DERANN schließen musste.
